The Bookstore Bakery is a delightful addition to West Chester! We loved browsing the book collection, eating delicious cake, and meeting the friendly owners! Our favorite cake was miso carrot-- absolutely divine. We were elated they they carried most of our favorite sci-fi, fantasy, romance, and YA authors. Hope they might expand with some small tables with chairs in the future!

Had a scrumptious, house-made chai that reminds me of horchata; at the moment it can only come iced but it’s not a problem for me. I also ordered a banana muffin and pasteis de nata (a Portuguese egg tart.) I’m a little bias since I make them at home but they are quite yummy and impressive but I don’t think I would purchase again. However, I will be going back for the banana muffin, which was one of the best muffins in my life. It was light and airy and perfectly sweet. Bravo! Thanks again and welcome to the neighborhood!

My experience at Bookstore Bakery was nothing short of wonderful! The owners, who are incredibly nice, made me feel right at home in this newly opened spot. As I indulged in their Portuguese egg tarts and iced chai, I was offered free cookies to sample. I had a nice conversation with both Jessica and Johnathan and their warmth adds an extra layer of charm to the cozy atmosphere. I will be visiting again.

I was in the Bookstore Bakery for the second time two days ago. The owner Jonathan remembered my name from my 1st visit 2 weeks before, and again was very helpful. He even gave me a choice of two new cookies for free. The cranberry cookie and the egg tortes I got are delicious!! This store deserves to be successful for many years to come!
