Baked and curated with excellence
Kind staff
The tastiest scone I've ever had! And they were so kind!
What an incredible addition to my beloved home town! While visiting from LA for Eagles kick off, I stopped in when my dad and I were sitting together at Jitters. Jessica is super nice and I was absolutely blown away by how delicious her brown butter chocolate chip cookies taste. The book selection is well curated and I was excited to find The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin. 10/10 would recommend to a friend
The Bookstore Bakery is a small yet delightful establishment that offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for book and coffee lovers. The aroma of freshly baked goods greets visitors upon entry, and the variety of books available caters to all tastes. The selection of books is impressive, featuring bestsellers, hidden gems, children's books, horror, and even Japanese poetry. The chocolate chip cookies are a must-try, praised for their delicious taste, along with the seasonal vegan pumpkin muffin and the vegan banana muffin. Customers also enjoy the savory scones and banana pudding, which add to the variety of treats. The shop is known for its great prices and friendly staff, including the owner who has a background in culinary arts and poetry. Their personable nature invites conversations about favorite books, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a treat while browsing through an array of books. Many visitors also praise the iced chai, which is considered the best in the area. The vibe is cozy, with great music that sets the perfect tone for grabbing a treat or soaking in the atmosphere. Definitely make a stop if in town.
