Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

Average food, average beer. Poor service. Indicated to server that we would be there for a few hours to watch a football game. And, we ordered food and drink throughout. All the server tried to do was get us to leave. And, to top it off, we were there with a couple of kids who ordered shirley temples. When they ordered refills two things happened. First, they used the same glassware (which would not have been a problem except that some food had fallen in one of the glasses and the drink came back with the food still in the glass). Second, the server told us that they were out of grenadine (or cherry juice, whatever they use). No bar runs out of grenadine! 15 minutes later, we saw drinks go by that had grenadine in them.

Plenty of better choices in the Borough!

We had a family birthday party for lunch and Bailey was such an amazing server! She was super attentive, got everything right and was so pleasant to engage with! We weren’t an easy group, with babies and toddlers and old folks, but it was a great lunch and great experience thanks to Bailey!

We come here pretty often to have a family dinner, and this place is pretty convenient. There’s on-street parking and a parking garage nearby. The food is pretty good, and our family enjoys coming here!

Kid-friendliness: There are kid menus with a couple of different options. The kids meal comes with an Entree, and either 2 sides or 1 side and an ice cream. Iron Hill also gives kids crayons to draw with.

We had a very attentive waiter made some great suggestions on draft menu and appetizers. being our first time there.We ordered
Fish n Chips,Moroccan Salmon,Korean Wings they all tasted delicious.

The Oktoberfest meal was just fair....the potato salad was served as a mashed up mess...could hardly find a potato...sausage was good but ham looked like sliced lunch meat...chicken dry...

We hadn't been back to IHB in awhile and were glad to see they've kept up their quality of the food. My wife had the salmon cakes and I had the jumbo shrimp and grits. We had the muscles as an app. WOW is what I'd say about the food. And Sydney our server was terrific. Great smile. Great attitude and there when we needed her. We won't wait so long to be back.

Not a good experience. Our server was rushing us the whole time, although the place was far from being busy. The server actually seemed shocked and annoyed that a member of our group did not want to order an alcoholic beverage and just wanted water. My pasta dish and flatbread were not flavorful at all. Will not return.

Good place to stop for a brew and a bit.

Doordashed food from here and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

the kitchen was very slow and our food came out at different times, our salads were not as ordered and were missing their cheese once we got everything it was fine but a rough road getting there

We arrived for our 6:30 reservation at 6:26pm (hostess said “I just texted you!”). When I turned to my husband and asked him quietly, “do you want to wait for a table outside?”, she interrupted “there's nothing available.” Well, I hadn't asked her, she interrupted, and really - it's a Sunday, there were empty tables outside, and had I asked - you mean to tell me there isn't an OPTION to wait for a table outside? I understand it's dependent upon the status of the kitchen and servers, but perhaps if we'd have asked you (wait til we ask you, please do not insert yourself when I am speaking to my husband, not you). All of the restaurants in West Chester that are much smaller and privately owned will allow for a wait for a table outside. This is also noted upon making the reservation. This interaction with the hostess was rude. Our table was sticky. My son ordered Baja fish tacos, which he orders regularly - there used to be 3 served, now only 2. My husband had salmon and the portion was minuscule - likely a $5 piece of fish, but the entree is $24 here. Iron Hill is now ridiculously overpriced and dirty. There are far better places to eat in West Chester who will welcome you for your money.

Always good food and good value. We were initially seated in a booth for our party of six when there was a perfectly good round table set for six in the dining room. We had to request being reseated. Not a huge deal, but they knew we were coming.
