Kildares Irish Pub - West Chester, PA

Kildaires is an amazing bar with good food that has served as an amazing place for my family to watch the christmas parade and a great place to visit for st pattys day. Its a great place to be on thursdays and sundays for karoke as well. I have only ever been kicked out once and that was due to being too hammered so I apologize for that.

Been here a few times and always get great service. The bouncers Bri and JT were very respectful and kept the line moving. I will be back soon.

I tried their Guiness stout, and it was excellent. The servers were friendly and available. Lots of social events there. We did nt try their food, so I can't comment on it. Overall, a very nice Irish bar. I would go again.

Everything was sticky and it was packed with college age kids. Had one drink and left. Was hoping for a little less club feel and more of an Irish pub feel.

We are from another state, and we stopped in here for supper Thursday night. It was the best decision ever! Great food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend! If we lived here, I would be in trouble!!

We had a great time during trivia. The atmosphere and food was great. The only ding was our chairs were a little wobbly and felt sus. Otherwise had a great time

They have an interesting menu - very diverse. Wings were awesome. Beer was cold. Service was top notch. The regulars get a little rowdy and kind of ruin it for everyone else.

Great atmosphere

Definitely a “college pub”. Food is mediocre at best. I have been here many times since they opened 20 plus years ago. It has gone down hill slowly. But the staff was always fun. Not the last few times over the past year though. The last visit I suggested a group of us meetup here. The bartender was quick to assume when my friend from out of town began to point out that the rueben spring roll was undercooked, she (the bartender) immediately cut her off and said “that’s the color of corned beef, it’s cooked”. My friend’s response was “if I could finish, it is the spring roll wrap that is under cooked, I know what corned beef looks like”. The bartender walked away, not acknowledging the food issue at all. She never came back to the end of the bar to us. We finished our drinks and figured out the tab by looking online and left cash on the bar. Shameful, I was embarrassed that I was the one who recommended we go here for a few drinks and snacks.

Great place! A surprisingly large restaurant/bar in downtown West Chester. Our fish & chips and shepherds pie were both excellent.

Bartender poured us perfect half and half's, no crowd at a Monday lunch, food and service was very good. Slainte!

I have never been here but beware! Someone stole my debit card information and used it here from Saturday-Sunday (October 27th, 2024). I live in GA so y'all need to keep an eye on y'alls bank accounts.

I rated a 3 star since I've never been here and so I could post.

Went in and we sat at the bar, cordial and responsive drinks were ok. Ordered some food pretzel bites were good. I ordered the hot roast beef 15 for two slices of beef. Great roll though. Average not worth the trip. My friend got the pulled pork bbq. He ate one bite, could be his taste is just different it happens. But bartender ignored his answer when she asked how it was he stated not good. She never asked or offered something in place etc. def won’t be returning.
