Staff was super friendly and kind. Food was amazing and portion sizes are huge. Great prices and love the student discount! Can’t wait to come here again. So cute.

Food is flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are large. Prices are very good. BYOB. Friendly service and chill atmosphere. This won’t be West Chester’s best kept secret for long.

Absolutely phenomenal! The plantains were literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was flavored well and served hot. The Husband and Wife team that run this establishment are some of the warmest and most kind people I’ve met in a really long time. Their great customer service mixed with the really tasty food makes this place a 10/10.
Recommendations : if you’re feeling like moving away from basic “caribbean” fare, try these delicious options
stewed goat, plantains, jasmine rice with black beans, red snapper with sauce, THE MACARONI AND CHEESE, djon djon rice with black bean sauce, ask for pikliz (peek-leez) and eat it with the plantains
Gatekept Place that every one should know about
Recommended dishes: Fried Pork
Haitian and Jamacian dishes.
We started with bouillon bef and soup joumou.
I had tassot cabrit, veg rice, wife had poisson rouge in sauce with djon djon rice and both had a side of cabbage... everything was delicious 😋
Also had fresh juices with food.
No complaints about service, food came out hot and in a timely manner.
Would definitely go back to try some of the other dishes!

Good location, average food. The food lacked the distinct Caribbean flavor expected of this restaurant.

Over priced, and small food portions. Not worth it. I will never go back there.

My mom and I had the brown stew chicken and jerk wings with sweet plantain and rice and peas. It was delicious! Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! I consider myself a connoisseur of Jamaican cuisine lol and I’d definitely give this place a try if I were you! It’s FANTASTIC!!

The experience I had at this restaurant was great.
Janelle, a staff member, served me and followed the exact instructions I gave her for my order without any mistakes. I tried the wings, plantains, smash burger, fries, vegetable rice, as well as the swai fish, and was incredibly satisfied with each dish. Every dollar spent here was worth it, and I'd recommend anybody (Caribbean or not) to come to this restaurant.
The sky is the limit for the the restaurant and shoutout to Janelle for the hospitality she contributes to this establishment.

Our group of 5 ate at Manje for the first time last week. We came because of the great reviews—but also because it was a BYO.
The decor is pretty basic, but it is very clean and we were warmly welcomed by the server and by the aromas of delicious food. Service was quick, our server was super nice and very helpful.
We tried the goat curry, the whole fish with and without sauce, jerk chicken, and jerk pork as mains and fried plantains, rice and red beans, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage for sides, and ended with sweet potato cheesecake, rum cake, and a Haitian cake (I can’t remember the name). Everything was great , but the jerk pork was my favorite….followed by the fried sweet plantain and the sweet potato cheesecake. Portions are really big (we wanted dessert so we packed up take away containers of dinner).
We will definitely be back!
