Mimi's Tea Cottage in West Chester is absolutely lovely. This traditional tea room is open Thursday through Sunday. When we visited, Mimi was there, and she was just as friendly as the last time I met her.

I really wanted to like this place a lot, it looked so promising . The decor is super cute and definitely photo worthy.
We were a party of 5 crammed into a table for 4 in a corner. There was no room on the table for all the teapots and plates and teacups and food. It was very difficult to maneuver everything.
