Walked in and walked out. Place smells like cigarettes. A questionable guy playing one of those slot machine games. Not what I was expecting to be at Highland Orchards.

Hit or miss
Sometimes the food is great and then sometimes it’s awful. We ordered an Italian hoagie for my wife and they didn’t put the oil on (not a huge deal we had oil at home) but then we ordered a pepperoni pizza and were severely disappointed. This is clearly an old pizza that they had sitting around that they threw slices of pepperoni on and hoped we wouldn’t notice. Only reason we were able to eat it was by heating it up in the oven, and adding our own extra cheese. We’ve also gotten hoagies from here before and they’ve barely put any meat on, but today was fine.

The Aunty and Grandma are really nice. The Italian Special and Roast beef hoagies was pretty good. My mom loved the pumpkin flavor ice cream.

I went there and got a chicken salad hoagie, it was made with fresh chicken salad, assembled by kathy, best sandwich Ive had in a minute excellent place make sure to stop by.

I love little corner shops like this as the people here are always friendly and this one is no exception. Great food and service and they have a lavender lemonade that is probably one of my favorite drinks. Cant recommend it enough!

The ice cream is fabulous. My favorite one is Graham Central Station. It is a lovely caramel ice cream with chocolate teddy grahams in it. The book is very old-fashioned and the people are very nice. I only had seven dollars and I wanted two scoops of ice cream for my friend and they paid the extra $.95! 100% will go again!
