I can not say more about this place! What an amazing find on our drive home. We came across this place and their food was better than most places in Chinatown! The Sushi was so fresh and tasty! Great customer service and super fast service. All that and the prices were very reasonable!
Great amount of choices food and really nice inside the restaurant. Very convenient to be able to order online. Give it a try.
Best food i had in a very long time. Relaxing place, lovely taste. Thank you ♡
Just wasted a 45-minute trip because it's all you can eat, but it's only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. I'll review it again if I go.
Nice place! Sushi was ok, boba was delicious, the general Taos chicken was disgusting I couldn’t even eat it! fried jumbo shrimp was good! The waitress was no very friendly and didn’t even ask if we had an issue with the food seeing as we left it all there and had her throw it away!
Some of the best sushi and Chinese food, not just in Reading, but anywhere in Southeastern Pennsylvania! I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it's always great! The long-time owners are very nice as well! Don't sleep on Zhuang's!
Mediocre , Egg roll was overcooked. Sichuan chicken was sweet not spicy & savory. Pass
Great food and reasonable prices.
Family owned great Sushi and Asian cuisine.
Best sushi I've ever had in PA. Super yummy and fresh. Owners were very nice, definitely recommend.

This place is soooo much better than the nearby Great China. Not even close.
Easy to find this restaurant and park.
The interior has a charming and relaxing atmosphere.
I ordered the triple delight. My food was hot and quickly served. Very tasty.
My companion ordered sushi and was pleased with it.
An order of hot donuts capped off our dinners.
Overall a nice experience.
If you live anywhere in Berks County and you enjoy Chinese food and / or Sushi and you haven't been to Zhuang's Garden you are absolutely missing out.
Just to start this restaurant is a full service dine in establishment as well as offering take out service. I highlight this because there are so few dine in Chinese restaurants remaining. When I was a kid growing up we had a bunch of Chinese places you eat in at, not so much anymore.
Zhuang's is a small family run restaurant with excellent service and food. I have easily eaten there 100 times over the last 20 years between dine in and take out. My family has always done Chinese as a Christmas Eve tradition and this year was no exception. Their Chinese and Sushi are both made fresh to order and I have never had anything I didn't enjoy. Like pretty much any restaurant I think their food is best when you dine in and eat it hot and crispy, etc. however we get take out often with no complaints.
My family frequently gets General Tso's chicken, pork lo mein, hunan beef, twice cooked pork, spare ribs, sweet and sour pork, California rolls, tuna and salmon rolls and sashimi, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, fried shrimp, walnut shrimp and others and they are all excellent.
To sum it all up this place is a local family run restaurant with great food, a great dine in or take out experience that has been around for a long time. I strongly suggest trying them out if you haven't and supporting a local business and family.
Worst Chinese food I ever had! Sushi roll was fishy. I ordered the beef a scallops and there was 4-5 scallops, even those tasted fishy. Hot and sour soup was terrible. Threw away 3/4 of the whole meal. Called and told management and they refunded 15 dollars of a 50 dollar meal that I threw away. Save your money and order from Great China, WAY BETTER THEN THIS PLACE! I will never order from here again! Just the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had hands down.
Some of the best specialty rolls ever!
