Were used to the Finleyville location because it’s closest to us and almost no one ever goes there so the lines are short and the parking lot is close to empty. The only thing is, it’s desolate - employees can be very antisocial, rather unfriendly, and sometimes painfully inattentive, but this isn’t a review about them lol. We’ve visited this GE twice and it’s huge and stacked. It’s VERY clean, there’s a self checkout kind of like Walmart’s that is NOT limited to 12 items, and the carts are NEW. They’re very holiday-ready too with how they set up their inventory. It even has a Starbucks I’ll make sure to review as well.

Every time I go to this store I purchase my groceries at the normal self check out; or designated cashier. I then would love to purchase alcoholic beverages in the beer and wine check out. However they allow people with carts full of groceries to use it as a normal checkout. My old store would not even ring a pack of bacon up there, because it’s for beer and wine! It is so frustrating, I end up going elsewhere to purchase wine or beer. This just is not right, the lane should be for beer and wine only, not for a $200 grocery shopping trip.

I returned meat that was full of elastin and not edible. My money was cheerfully returned. Additionally a Bok Hee waited on me at the deli. She is always cheerful and very efficient. I will share my experience with friends and family.

If you're from the west coast, the store is a huge, populated with all sorts of goodies, and good prices. Prices. Even better if you're looking around, and got your coupons in hand. The Starbucks could be lots better. Did you serve a fine drink, but The employee seemed far away and detached from their work.

After they supposedly gave away my child’s birthday cake to someone else. I came back the next am to pick up a “remade” version that looked like a toddler got into the cake station. They did comp the cake due to the earlier mishap, but the “incredibly friendly”bakery attendant who was talking to her coworker about how she missed the Covid mask days so that she didn’t have to see people’s faces who helped me seemed incredibly bothered that I was there to pick up my child’s remade cake. She then told me that it was NEVER EVEN MADE the day before, so more lies. The edible paper border wouldn’t even cut and literally peeled off the whole cake as it was cut. Wasn’t even worth it for free. NEVER AGAIN.

The staff here is wonderful. Something happened and my transaction froze. The system still took my money. The general manager Chuck made sure to handle my situation appropriately. It took all day for them to fix it but i was totally satisfied. He even gave me a gift card. Thank you Giant eagle.

Ordered a $40 dollar fruit tray for my kids party among other things. . Fruit tray came with moldy raspberries and strawberries. . Didn't notice til I got home as the case had condensation on it and really couldn't see in. . Unfortunately no one at the party needed any sort of penicillin. . Must have used the oldest fruit they had.

I love this grocery store! The workers here are so incredibly friendly. It is clean; with new renovations finally complete! The new self checkout area is awesome. They added a Starbucks, and often have local shops selling their items upfront. This is my favorite go to Giant Eagle in the area.

Extremely disappointed with this smash cake I ordered for my sons 1st birthday pictures!! If I wanted something that looked like I made I would have just made the cake myself!! Absolutely awful decorating and a flat cake, this is not a smash cake. What a joke

Loved itI arrived too early for the deli to open but the store was awesome. Best time to be there is 9 amI am disabled and find a riding cart available. This is such a problem with all the other stores. I was able to get all my groceries for 80 dollars. With coupons and savings it was great. The check out people are very nice.

Nothing screams Pittsburgh like a trip to Giant Eagle. It has been and always will be one of my absolute favorite locally owned and operated grocery stores. From expertly prepared hot foods, to local favorites throughout the store, Giant Eagle offers Pittsburghers everything they need and more! During my lifetime I witnessed the metamorphosis of Giant Eagle. This particular location in West Mifflin was always homebase. I used to love renting movies and video games from Iggle Video while my mom shopped. The Giant Eagle brand food is always top notch. Very few stores can compare to their in-store brand quality. But when you're looking for name brand goods, Giant Eagle has them all, and for very reasonable prices. For my non-Pittsburgh friends, you may not understand this, but when I need some Sarris candy or Mrs. T's pierogies while I'm visiting my family in Western Pennsylvania, Giant Eagle is the place to land.
