Charming, cozy, delicious. I can vouch for their claim of “best burger on the trail.”

This was just okay. Not a lot of choices for breakfast in this town. While waiting for our breakfast to arrive, I walked over to the connected bakery. I brought a blueberry pastry of some sort back to the booth to share. It was hard and stale, and when the bill arrived I think it was something like $5! Entrees were okay, not great. It’s kind of expensive for what you get, but again the choices in this town are limited.

A staple for when we are in town visiting family from the area. Try the stuffed cabbage things. The spelling escapes me. They have a banquet room, and my first experience here was a big birthday party. It's been a while now, but they served some really good stuff chicken breast dish. Check out the bakery section too. Lots of selection there. The prices are super reasonable too.

The food is fresh and delicious everyday much better than the large chain restaurants. You can't beat a mom and pop small business.

Understaffed. I was going to order the meatloaf until I read some reviews. I got steak salad instead. It was lousy. Very little cheese, tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli or fries. The steak wasn't warm. It had a taste like it sat in the refrigerator uncovered for a few days. The waitress was friendly but by herself and doing the best she could. The prices are low for a reason I guess. Like a previous review said, the worst meal of the 4 day trip. This is our first day but I suspect it will be the worst for our trip.

After a long rainy day on the GAP, dinner was lovely. I had an excellent grilled chicken salad. It was loaded with veggies like cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, etc . Really complete and filling. Husband had a bowl of soup and BLT which he enjoyed. Server was so attentive and sweet. Lastly, we bought some bakery to enjoy on our ride the next day. Loved the donuts. Price was very reasonable.
A Great place to get a home cooked meal made from scratch.

This was the worst meal on our 4 day GAP bike ride. We both ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes, looking forward to a meal that was not a burger or sandwich. I am guessing that it was frozen, thawed and nuked. It was inedible. My riding partner said it is what he imagines prison food is like. Our checks were messed up, which added to our unpleasant experience, but I don't fault the server. She was friendly and trying to do too much without help. I am only happy that we did not get food poisoning.
