“As an avid chinese food fan whos tried all the spots in and near the mon valley, I can safely say this new spot is definitely the best! The portions are always big, the pieces of chicken are all consistently huge and and tasty, no small little shrimp sized pieces and no nasty cartilage/fat bits in the chicken, the crab rangoons are delicious and the eggrolls are great too! The staff are always super friendly and the spot feels comfy and looks very clean. Dont waste your time and money at other sub par and over priced spots and give this place a try next time youre on the area!”

“Nothing I enjoy better than a cold beer after cranking out some miles along the GAP trail. The Draft wagon from Bloom Brew which is the local craft brewery in West Newton, has four selections to choose from at this location with one choice being a cider. The convenience of this draft wagon along with the Outpost burger place next door is great. No waiting to be seated or a person to serve you. Order at the window and your all set! Opened in 2021, it is becoming a great place to enjoy a beer and chat up with other cyclists and the locals that stop by. All outdoor setting with plenty of shade to enjoy the day and your beverage of choice. The beer tenders are friendly and helpful.”

“We moved to the area in November and although we’ve always heard how good the food was we finally tried it! Everything was amazing every time.

Today was a long day between work and doctors appointments so we decided to order their delivery. Wings, breadsticks (quite literally the best ones I have ever had) and Hawaiian pizza with green peppers- when the order arrived it didn’t have the peppers. I was hesitant to call, not that it was a huge deal and I’m not a complainer. I own my own business so I get it. But I am 5 months pregnant and it’s just something I wanted… badly 😅 When I called, and explained- I told them I was going to eat it anyway because hello, tired- pregnant- hungry, and just asked for a credit next order. Instead, they told me to keep the one I had and that they were going to send me a new pizza over as well! Not only was the order correct but they also gave me a medium instead of a small like I had originally ordered. Both delicious, but this is truly how good customer service works. They’ll always have my business as long as we live close!!”

“Yesterday my friend and I were followed by a creepy man, and we went into the Roll’n’Scoop to stay away from him. After we noticed the man was outside watching us through the window, we let the workers know our situation. They locked the doors and let other people know about the man. Once the man was away from the door, they let us out the back door. Without these workers I don’t know what would’ve happened to me and my friend. I am very grateful for their kindness.
I’ve had their sushi and boba; they are both very great, so I would definitely recommend this place. They have great food/drinks and very kind workers.”

“Tonight I made my first trip to Bull River Taco in White Oak. On Oct 18th my nephew had made his last trip to his favorite taco joint. later that evening he was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. So in his honor I wanted to go and have something from his favorite place. The owners were wonderful, and after hearing my story didn't charge us for anything. The service, food, and experience was amazing. Additionally, my nephew was always doing random acts of kindness, it was in his DNA. So since we weren't charged for our meal I decided to pay it forward and picked up the tab for the next customer through the door. I can't thank them enough for making the trip special. Can't wait to go back again!”

Everything was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The limoncello gobs were light and refreshing, and the mini cannoli’s were the perfect bite-sized treat. What really stood out was the service. When I was deciding on desserts, they kindly offered me a sampler, which was such a thoughtful touch and helped make the decision easy. You can tell they care about both their product and their customers. I highly recommend Country Custard Cottage for any special occasion.
