The Outpost River's Edge Eatery

Ate here the other day and had the BBQ burger. Asked for no onions and got onions. But I was able to pick them off. The burger was really good. Had great bbq aioli sauce that was delicious. Was crispy on the edges which I loved. Sad that this is the last weekend but hopefully can get another burger this weekend before they close for the season.
Ordered a lemonade and did not seem like they put any sugar in it. Plus it is a bit pricey. But those were the only issues I have. Great place to sit by the water. Beautiful views and right on the bike trail. Would go again.

Been coming to West Newton often to ride always wanted to The outpost this time after a long ride said today is the day. The classic smash was very tasty definitely would eat here again.

We had a wonderful evening at The Outpost Eatery last night. The outdoor seating by the river was great, the music by Bill and Renee was awesome and the smash burgers were so good!

Burgers, fries and hotdogs by the river!!! You can’t beat that combination! Picked a spot to eat and the food was brought to our table. Beautiful scenery!!

Chris taking our order awesome, everyone there working amazing and the food I am a big foodie can say THE BEST Burger ( I had bacon classic) oh the gravy fries!!! I never do post reviews, but I truly had to put this out there. THIS place is a MUST, oh and perfectly sits near the river just sit and enjoy!!

The burger may have been the best I have ever had at any restaurant!! Excellent service and I love that the money goes to after school activities for kids!! Couldn’t recommend more!

Great place to stop if you've juat ridden the gap to Connellsville and are dying of boredom and hunger. Got a delicious chili cheese dog, you can taste the high-quality beef.
It is a bit pricy for the portion size, but it goes to a great cause and the location right off the trail is unbeatable. e happened to stop and listen to live music covers too.
Of course get a Hawaian shaved ice bc the kids don't skimp.on the syrup, absolutely delicious. I look forward to stopping again!!
