We had a excellent lunch. There was no crowd at 4pm. We were told to seat ourselves and we had a delicious meal. Everyone liked what we ordered. Food came fast and was reasonably priced. I loved the coleslaw and my hamburger

Had the egg roll sampler and all three were very good, and then had wings, tossed in the “Youghness monster” sauce, also very good. Friendly service, good atmosphere. All around good experience.

Had the Tuscan chicken tonight—so good! Our server Maya was sweet, quick, and took good care of us even though the restaurant was pretty crowded.

The trailside seems to be a mix of a local pub and a sports bar. Located near the trail in Collensburg Or West Newton,PA. This eatery seems to do well but parking can be adventurous.
Trailside has many local and sports related items on its walls. A mixture of high and low tables with a few booths. It's a clean restaurant with plenty of lights so you feel safe ordering as well as being there at night.
Food came quickly, apps were pricey for what you recieve but they were good. All of the sandwich options revolved around local town names which I thought was a nice touch.
So the Rostraver Ruben was slightly above average with chips 12.99 was about $2 over priced. The Magladon Fish, was a flakey but what set it off was the jalapeño tater. I also add onion and American cheese. It does come with fries for 16.99 I did not receive my fries for some reason but it was discounted. The bun was more of a French roll and was very large.
In all its a good place with nice staff. Food is near average but a return trip will be required. I suggest you try it for yourself it gets 3 stars today.

Sat in this restaurant for over 10 minutes (10-31-2025). 2 waitresses walked past us multiple times and never acknowledged us.
Nice spot to stop for lunch on our ride to Ohiopyle. Fast and very friendly service. Food was quite good. Sat outside on the beautiful deck. Filled our water bottles. Parking for bikes down below the deck at the bike shop.

This used to be one of our go to places, but the most recent visit was beyond mediocre. I had fish tacos that seemed to be missing the fish. They were out of the coleslaw they usually used and substituted either a spoon of cabbage COVERED in the sauce. My nieces Chix was dry and this was after waiting 45 mins for the food to come. Didn’t think of it at the time I wish I had taken a pic of the tacos. They shouldn’t have served them. AND I should have sent them back.

Stopped here on our trip from downtown Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle on the GAP. My bike needed some minor work and the bike shop repaired it for a reasonable price while we ate lunch upstairs. We were also able to charge our ebike batteries while there. Great food, great service. Highly recommend

Fish sandwich was excellent. Chicken planks were heavily breaded and overcooked. Will try something else next time.
