Yesterday was my first time visiting Ballyhoo. The atmosphere is just wonderful - especially with the beautiful Christmas decorations! I had a peppermint hot chocolate and enjoyed it in your dining area while I read a book. It was so cozy! I was also sure to leave with some delicious old-fashioned candy, which was awesome! I will definitely be back and definitely bring family and friends! What a great place!
I went here with my family and 2 kids. They charged us 18% gratuity because it was “6 or more”. I understand that this is a small business but this tactic is sneaky. Fine dining restaurants don’t even do this. They also up charged their season ice cream flavors with tiny print on the menu. My son didn’t enjoy his ice cream flavor so the waitress grabbed him something else- and we were still charged. Went to Ballyhoo tonight, First time this season. I was extremely disappointed. My wife got A very small cup of chocolate vanilla twist and I got a vanilla in a cup with sprinkles. There was like two.
