“This was my first time eating at Bartram House Bakery. There was a wide variety on the menu. My group purchased a salad, a wrap, and a sandwich. They were all very good. And the bakery items looked delicious. I will be getting the carrot cake on my next visit.“

“I’ve been a huge Kaelin’s fan for years & this review is way past due! It’s a wonderful little gem with so many things to offer. The produce, bars goods (the PIES!! 🥧), the decorations for sale, the soups & the plants are just some of our favorites! My kids love visiting around Fall when they have Pumpkinland displayed- a section of the greenhouse decorated for Halloween with the cutest selection of artistically painted pumpkins for sale. The best part of the market, by far, is the family who runs it. The Kaelin Family is the kindest, most welcoming group of people! Stop by when you get the chance! It’s wonderful!“

“It has never been anything but a pleasant experience at Kyle’s Cakes n’ at! My husband, daughter, and I love cheesecake and first tried the cheesecake at a farmers market they were at. We knew we wanted to order their cheesecake for our wedding at that point.

Even with all the craziness of them opening their storefront the day of our wedding, they were super accommodating with properly packing the cheesecakes for us to travel a few hours with them. Everything turned out amazing and the cheesecake was a major hit with our guests!

More recently, we went in for last minute cookies for the holidays and Kyle offered to bake them fresh. Of course, the cookies tasted amazing as well! I cannot recommend Kyle’s Cakes n’ at enough!“

“This cookie/sandwich shop has risen to the top in so many ways! We live in FL and our daughter lives in Pittsburgh and it was her birthday. I looked up cookie places and GoodL’Oven cookie shop in Bellevue popped up, I liked the name so I gave them a call😁 Next was where the experience began, I spoke to John, the baker, who listened to my story like he had all the time in the world, he navigated me thru their delicious cookie menu and which cookies are the people pleasers, then I decided to order sandwiches which he recommended the French Connection & Muffalata. But to top it off, (they are typically not a delivery place) he arranged to have my order delivered to my daughter’s place! She was so surprised and raved about the cookies and Sammie’s! In this day and age, there are not many people or places that go beyond, but John, you were OVER THE TOP! Thank you for making my day AND our daughter’s! Can’t wait to meet you in person next time we visit😁“

“I visited Crumbl Cookies – Cranberry Township and tried the Dubai Chocolate Brownie — it was absolutely delicious! Rich, fudgy, and perfectly baked. The staff was friendly and the store smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. Definitely one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while.“

“When you don't have any homemade cookies on hand, Good L'Oven cookies are the next best thing! The Salted Sea Turtle is my favorite cookie. If you're in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursdays, they sell cookies at the Farmers Market. If you're visiting their shop at lunch, they also have a great buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely stop at Good L'Oven when you have a chance!“

“This place is absolutely outstanding. They’ve been in business since the 80s, and when you walk in, it screams classic charm. I go into some bakeries and everything looks so tidy and boring - this place, you look at the stuff behind the glass and you KNOW it’s gonna be delicious. I had a birthday cake custom made for my wife, and it was perfectly baked. While I was waiting in line to pick it up, I was browsing what was available to munch on - I got an oatmeal raisin cookie for my wife and a pumpkin pie bar for myself - both were delicious. They are so friendly here and I love it. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“I’ve been here over a dozen times now and the consistency and quality is great, however, the process of some of the items are crazy. Like how is a small sour cream donut the same price as some crazy intricate filled cronut-makes no sense. Also, I wis the app offered more rewards and deals, like give me a few more $3 lattes, it’s the least they can do after a $6 pastry. But everything I’ve had here is pretty great, it’s definitely not some French bakery but more of a good Instagram worthy/trendy place where everything looks so perfect and you can take a photo to show everyone and their dog. Coffee is pretty good too. This place is also on TooGoodToGo if you wanted to get a random assortment for cheap, just know that last time I did it they were kinda stale and dry somehow. TLDR, kinda pricy and please make the simple pastries less expensive.“

“I was on my way to my daughters softball game and stopped at the PF to grab a quick bite. I didn’t realize they were closed...went inside and the employee gave me a free drink and the rest of the pretzel items for free. She did not have to do that. Nice to know there are some kind and gracious people in this crazy world we live in. Thank you pretzel factory for the reminder!“
