We've gotten take out on Christmas Eve from this restaurant's predecessor for several years, so we did again this year since it's familiar even if it's not the same. I'd read the reviews here and gotten some good ideas of what to order. We placed an online order around 6pm, intending to pick up around 7:30. Their website makes it easy to order although I wish there were more details on what each dish includes.

We had beef lo mein, pork egg foo yung, sesame chicken, and the seafood dish called Jaded Affair. It was my first time having egg foo yung, and I'm not sure that I love it, but it did have good flavor. The stand out was the Jaded Affair. The veggies were a great assortment and the white sauce was tasty and not too heavy. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. This is going to be my go-to choice at this restaurant. So delicious! The lo mein was really good according to our picky eater as were the fried pork dumplings.

The prices for the items were very good for the portions provided and the quality of the food.

As mentioned, it was Christmas Eve. When we arrived to pick up the food there were several people in the entryway who I asked if they were waiting for takeout - they were not, they were waiting for a table. They'd been waiting a while. Once inside the restaurant there was another small crowd - some waiting to be seated and others waiting for takeout. It turns out that waiting is what a lot of people were doing. There were several empty tables, but also very few people working. Seems like they had only three employees for one of the busiest nights of the year!

Our order wasn't quite ready when we arrived, but it came out within about 15 minutes of the expected time. But then it was absolutely worth the wait! We will surely return soon, and we look forward to continuing our Christmas Eve tradition with the new owners of the new Asian Palace. 5/5! 10/10!

Three tries, we are done. First time, some issues...menu items not available. Ok, they are newly opened. Give another try ..second time was ok. No issues food ok. Third time, ordered take out by phone at 530pm. They said they needed an hour. Ok. Waited the hour. Arrived to phone ringing off the hook (no one answering) and 5 people deep for pick up. Finally get to my turn, they don't have my order. I'm headed to Wendy's. I don't have time to wait an hour and 15 minutes only to restart the process. I wanted to give a fair shot but after 3 tries, I'm totally underwhelmed

Excellent food (Roast Pork Fried Rice, Roast Pork Lo-Mein, Shrimp Eggroll, Wonton Soup). The owner and her sometimes helper (friend) are super nice. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Fantastic! A Must-Try in Wexford!

Asian Palace has done an incredible job with their renovations and reopening. The place looks beautiful, clean, and welcoming. We’ve been here several times since they reopened, and the food is consistently delicious. Portion sizes are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.

It’s also extremely kid-friendly. Our kids love their sesame chicken, and it’s become one of their favorite restaurants. Free parking is a nice bonus, too.

It’s unfortunate that some older reviews from the previous owners are still lingering on Google, because the new Asian Palace is truly wonderful. The service, the food quality, and the overall experience are completely different and so much better.

Highly recommend checking this place out! Wexford has a gem here!

Ordered takeout of our two favorite dishes. The rice was a gummy mushy lump as if reheated multiple times. My Hunan chicken was absolutely tasteless and the veggies were also mush. The only reason I gave it two stars is because my husband's General Tso chicken had flavor and was crisp. This was a week night. Perhaps if we went during a busier time the food would have been fresher.

Growing up in New York City I was no stranger to the delicious Chinatown restaurant entrees found on and near Mott Street. Now as a happy Pittsburgh resident I have a knack for finding special local dining experiences; one of which is the new Asian Palace located in the old China Palace space in Wexford's Country Inn Shoppes on Perry Highway. Today I dined in and found something new to me, JADED AFFAIR, a house special. WOW! The shrimp and scallops were large, delicious and perfectly cooked. The white sauce was also delicious and I was told that it contained no msg. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. I like variety, and my visits to Asian Palace have included wonderful eggplant chicken, and delightful Marella's Fish. Also, I find the egg drop soup served with crispy noodles to be a special treat. I'll be back!

This was our second visit to Asian Palace, and the food was just as amazing as the first time. We ordered the Pan-Fried Vegetable Dumplings and the Tofu Lo Mein — both were absolutely delicious. The dumplings were perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft, flavorful filling, and the tofu lo mein had great texture, fresh veggies, and amazing flavor.
Our server was incredibly sweet and recommended trying the dumplings pan-fried instead of steamed, and we’re so glad we listened — it was the highlight of the meal. Wonderful food, warm service, and consistent quality every time. Highly recommended!

New place suck

This is a contemporary classic for local Chinese in Wexford! It’s not perfect, but man is it good! The workers are also very mind and even recognize us! The negative reviews are all strangely non-specific and seem to deal with personal issues, not actual tangible issues with the restaurant. This place needs to stay open. Period.

We frequented this restaurant in the past and it had always been of good quality.
Our order today was sub par and some of the worst food I have had. My seafood soup literally had one fake sea stick cut into thin slices for $10!!! Typically this same soup has a few scallops and shrimp along with the fake sea sticks.
We called to advise of the poor quality and the person literally said it the best they can and stay afloat! Told us to go wherever.
Good luck with your business!
You lose customers this way.

I wish I could give a 0. Simply because of the customer service. The attitude of the women running the front desk is a display of ignorance. Also, food is overpriced compared to the portion size they give. Really, don’t waste your time or money!

Huge disappointment for take out. Won’t try again. Overpriced too.
