My 5 yo gets the General Tso's chicken when we eat here, and I stole a tiny bite of it tonight- it is literally the best I've ever tasted. Same for the spring rolls. Amazing pad thai, amazing curry, and really wonderful service. One of our family's favorite places to eat.

We were in this area on a shopping trip an are always looking for good Thai food, so when we saw the sign, we immediately pulled in to the shopping plaza. Being a little late for the lunch rush we were not surprised that the place was almost completely empty. We almost drove away as we thought they might actually be closed, to tell the truth, but luckily some people were seated by the window, so we knew they were actually open.
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and led to a table and presented with both a dinner and a lunch menu. Somewhat to our surprise (and disappointment) the lunch menu features Chinese soups and spring rolls rather than Thai soups. Also, several of the dishes listed on the menu are Chinese rather than Thai. We asked about that and were told that the dinner menu features the Thai soups. While not really an answer, that was as far as we got.
We ordered one Thai dish from the Noodle section and one from the Rice section. The waitress asked us for a heat preference and we asked for a “6” on the 0 to 10 scale. I asked about spicing it up some more separately and she explained that after I taste the food, she would be happy to bring out something to spice dishes up. OK then.
The Hot and Sour Soup was brought out and was a disappointment. It was mostly sour with no spiciness to it at all. I asked the waitress for some hot sauce and she was surprised. I explained that the soup was certainly sour, but I wanted some heat as well. She quickly came back with a tiny bowl of Sriracha. While not what I would have done, it did help increase the spice level of the soup – but also the sourness!
The spring roll had just come out of the fryer, so we let it cool down a bit before going after it. It came with a clear dipping sauce that tasted like simple syrup – totally sweet. Luckily, we still had some of the Sriracha left and the combination worked well.
Our main dishes arrived and we noted that they were flavorful. Lacking in heat, but tasty. The other thing they were very skimpy on was in the protein elements. In both dishes we asked for chicken and could only find three or four small chicken chunks. There was still plenty to eat and we did end up taking some home for rewarming. The best thing about this meal though was that it was very inexpensive.
Overall, we thought the food was rather tasty and we would definitely want to give the place another try. Probably amp up the heat index to an 8 and also order from the dinner menu.
Parking: Lots of parking right in front of the restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp for getting up to the curb is quite a distance away from the front door. Inside, there is plenty of space. Door to the Mens room is rather heavy to handle from a wheelchair.

I've only been here for lunch, but it's excellent - sometimes a little quiet, but the peace is welcome too.
I have tried the Gang Dang curry, and their yellow curry (forget the name). Both excellent.
I like a little spice, so I go with a 5 (out of 10). The lunch special is a good deal, comes with a soup (wonton or hot and sour) and a mini egg roll.
Service is always quick and extremely friendly. They check on you often to make sure everything meets their standards and your happiness.

Not what it used to be. Took so long for someone to get the drink order that we were able to place our entire order when they finally came over to us. Food was not as good as what it used to be. Bland. My mom even had to put salt and pepper on her food.

A FOODIE’S FIND OF AN OUTSTANDING AUTHENTIC THAI?????.
There’s a large dining area with very pleasant ambiance. There’s also an open bar, with a separate wine list.
The menu looks very creative???. While it’s a longish menu, it is very very easily navigable for more informed choices of food to savor.
? other than the usual comfort Thai foods like Spring Rolls, Pad Thai and Green Curry, There’s a lot of unique creations.
? there’s an unexpected re-invention of the otherwise horrid general Tso, a concoction that has been misrepresented/perpetuated as chinese dish. ….Here, they cook it with Thai flavors.
??? a most notable one is the Crunchy Pork Salad, highly textural with flavors of fresh ginger, onions, fresh cut vegetables and sautéed ground pork married together by a lovely lime vinaigrette.
??? the Chef’ Specials section is the best place to explore unique creations
?????the Crispy Basil Duck is absolutely divine: very crispy lightly battered boneless duck chunks on sautéed vegetables with a lovely fragrant basil sauce
??? the Basil Eggplant is exquisitely Thai: Japanese eggplant sautéed with mixed vegetables and lots of basil leaves in garlic sauce.
Service is outstanding!

The food at The Thai Place is amazing! I love that you can pick the “spicy level”. We got the Spring Rolls with Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, and Pad Thai with Chicken. I wish I would have taken photos because the presentation was very nice too. Portions are good- I had leftovers for the next day.Servers are friendly and the owner comes around to make sure you are enjoying your meal.Highly recommend!

Very good Thai food. Great hot and sour soup and pad thai. Delicious
Their attention to detail is appreciated. They tailor each dish according to your tolerance level for spicy heat. Nice. Also, each dish can be altered to suit your preferences. Quiet atmosphere that is so relaxing. We love to go when we're in the area.
