Thorn Hill Tap House offers very good food, with a relaxed and cool atmosphere. The menu includes a delicious hush puppy appetizer and strong moonshine cocktails. Their Texas-style chili is meaty and spicy, while the BBQ burger is satisfyingly meaty. Despite some slow service, the food saved the overall experience. Late-night visitors can still enjoy an excellent burger and dark beer, like the whiskey mushroom burger, which lives up to its reputation. The place is not fancy, but the solid burgers and great service make it a worthwhile stop.
