Stopped by on a lovely summer Saturday afternoon. The cocktails were well crafted; the service friendly and quick. During nice weather on the weekends, there’s live music to lend a soundtrack to your day. Had a great conversation with John, the proprietor, who filled us in on some of the history of the distillery and the different varieties of bourbons, gins, and vodkas they make on site.
Well worth a stop if you’re a craft cocktail fan who’s looking for a relaxing afternoon.

I booked a reservation about 3 weeks out for 6 of us to celebrate my fiancés 40th. Upon arrival this past Saturday, I let them know I was here and that the others would be there shortly. I was asked if we wanted to do the tour but explained we didn’t, just sit at the outside table and enjoy the music. Boy do I wish we would have done the tour. We stood around for about 25 minutes or so waiting to be seated when we had a reservation. Shortly after being seated we were told that they needed 4 of our 6 menus because a bachelor party of 25 walked in and they needed them. About 15 minutes or so later they came over to take our drink order. I was looking on the online menu since others needed the menus. I was told I could only order off of the menu that was given that day and that “he won’t make anything else that’s not on the featured menu.” Which meant no mocktails for me. Nonalcoholic choice was water out of an igloo cooler. First round of drinks came about 15 minutes after that. So the reservation was for 2 and we finally got drinks by 3pm. 2nd round of drinks were ordered and only one of the 3 drinks came to the table. By 3:30 we were told the others were coming but never did so we decided to leave. It was such a shame because I really wanted to enjoy the place and stay for a few hours being that I’ve heard such great things, but we honestly couldn’t have gotten out of there any faster. Unfortunately, our experience was not so great. I only gave 2 stars because everyone enjoyed the drinks that we did actually get. I’m hoping maybe some wait staff called off and I caught them on a bad day?

Drinks are amazing however, the wait time to get one is o er 45 min. We had a reservation for two and waited untill 245 to be seated. Then wated and addtion 30 min for a drink.

Awesome harvest host stop. The tasting room is very quaint and comfortable. The owners are an amazing couple who run the business alone. So, don’t be in a hurry when you stop here. Relax and enjoy the quality spirits!

This place is amazing!!! Definitely worth the visit. The atmosphere is one of the best I’ve experience and more importantly the product they sell (bourbon, agave, vodka etc) were some of the best I’ve had (and I’ve been to quite a few distilleries in my life).

I drive 2+ hours to go to this distillery. Top quality spirits, excellent absinthe, whiskey, and vodka. I can't say enough good things about Holy Ghost. I've enjoyed every visit.

The owners are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make sure that you feel comfortable at their facility and that you leave feeling you had a great experience and will be happy to come back again, they have a wide variety of great products. Holy Ghost is a great place, they make you feel like you are home and you are since it is a house where you can get your own room. John and Janice are wonderful people and easy to become friends with. Lets not forget the spirits as they are unique and very good. Something for everyone's taste if you like the kind of spirits they offer. Highly recommend it.

This place is phenomenal! They were our first stop on a bachelor party tour, and they couldn’t have been nicer. Their cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever had! Their smoked old fashioned is fantastic. This is a must stop place when you’re in the Poconos!
