I drive 2+ hours to go to this distillery. Top quality spirits, excellent absinthe, whiskey, and vodka. I can't say enough good things about Holy Ghost. I've enjoyed every visit.

Holy Ghost is a great place, they make you feel like you are home and you are since it is a house where you can get your own room. John and Janice are wonderful people and easy to become friends with. Lets not forget the spirits as they are unique and very good. Something for everyone's taste if you like the kind of spirits they offer. Highly recommend it.

This place is phenomenal! They were our first stop on a bachelor party tour, and they couldn’t have been nicer. Their cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever had! Their smoked old fashioned is fantastic. This is a must stop place when you’re in the Poconos!

A beautiful hike on the Lehigh Gorge trail with a visit to the Holy Ghost Distillery is a perfect day. The breadth of choice, not only from a cocktail / spirit perspective, (they have beer and wines, not theirs but choice for all) but munchies to accompany an afternoon tasting were spot on(ask what the soup of the day is, we had turkey chili - delicious!). We did the vodka tasting and the bourbon tasting… bought three flavored vodkas!… also, their signature cocktails are fun! The John’s Old Fashioned (Make It Smoky) was a favorite amongst the group and the sazerac was very much enjoyed, as well… the owners / staff are so gracious, informative and genuinely nice people. We look forward to many more visits!!

Janice is a gem. A brilliant proprietor of the distillery along with her husband John. I'm from new york and had a bourbon tasting and and a vodka tasting. Fabulous. The gin is spot on. The pear is a masterpiece. There are so many pear vodkas that have natural flavors and this is not. It's made with real pears. The gem is the cherry. It was not available at the time i was there. It needs to be pre ordered. The orange, walnut bourbon i excellent. My favorite is the pecan of which 2 came home with me.
Overall, it's worth the travel to the distillery. It took us over an hour to get to there from where i was staying. The tzatziki platter was fabulous so many carrots and English cucumbers with warm toasted pita. The soups are authentic and home made by Janice, the owner.
I will reach out tomorrow to see if rhey can reserve a few bottles of the cherry.
This is a well made distillery, that is family owned and operated. A must see and worth the travel.
