Worth the drive from the Strip. They always sound soooo annoyed when taking my order but I guess it’s hard making pizzas all day?

The pizza was very good. I wouldn't say it's the best pizza in Pittsburgh but definitely worth going there.

"Rockway Pizza: Where Pepperoni Knots are the Twist You Never Knew You Needed!I stumbled upon Rockway Pizza craving something different, and boy, did they deliver—literally! The Pepperoni Knots had me tied up in deliciousness from the very first bite. The portion sizing was spot-on, leaving me feeling satisfied but already planning my next visit. And as for the taste? Let's just say my taste buds did a happy dance that could rival any TikTok trend. Rockway Pizza, you've officially become my new twist on pizza night!"Did I make this using ChatGPT you may be asking yourself, maybe ?‍♂️?‍♂️?But no seriously you need to try this place out it’s fantastic and the service is amazing, not even to mention the atmosphere with a classic pizzeria vibe and like classic jazzy music

First time I'd ever been there was last night to get pizza for takeout. First of all, the smell was amazing and how every great pizza shop should smell. Secondly, loved all of the posters on the wall! Finally, the pizza is authentic NY style. I wish we lived closer so we could get it more often but will definitely return!

Daaaaaaaamn this was delicious! ? Found out about this place from Dan Tallarico's interview on CityCast Pittsburgh on National Pizza Day. I should preface this by stating I'm an absolute NYC pizza snob, big-time. Then I lived in Melbourne, Australia for 6 years and tasted hundreds of pizzas there too, how I'm not obese yet must be genetic, however I insist on ignoring the lipids (cholesterol, etc). Melbourne has QUITE a number of amazing Margherita pizza restaurants, absolutely outstanding but I did not like what I guess would be their take on pizza tho. I'm a boring traditionalist and when you start throwing in fruit, kangaroos, ham, etc., on pizzas, I am out.Every town has their own take or variation on pizzas, of course but I'm strictly Margherita (Neapolitan) or NYC style. Based mostly on that, Rockaway is suddenly my number one! We had Badamo's as number one for years until we tried Fiori's in Brookline, more recently we've been on a Slice on Broadway fixation, but as of yesterday, our lives have changed in explicable ways so much so, I wanna move to Oak Hill but that would indubitably lead to a quadruple bypass in time. This was and still IS delicious over 24 hours later?. We cannot wait to go back and eat it there right outta the oven.

Pizza was burnt didn't even fit in the box. The place especially the Pizza ovens were disgusting, never cleaned.I tried calling, I ordered about 30 minutes before you closed by time I got home it was only a few minutes before you closed no one answered when I did try to call. Bad timing on my part I guess. Thanks for responding.

One of the best you can get in the "Pittsburgh" area, and absolutely is the closest you'll get to tasting like a legit NY pie. Reminds me a lot like Joe's in NYC and that is an incredible pie.

Always an amazing pizza! All of their pizzas are great, my favorites are the white with ricotta cheese on it, and a regular red sauce pie with pepperoni and mushrooms. They've always been friendly and accommodating, the absolute best pizza in Pittsburgh!
