“Tonight I made my first trip to Bull River Taco in White Oak. On Oct 18th my nephew had made his last trip to his favorite taco joint. later that evening he was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. So in his honor I wanted to go and have something from his favorite place. The owners were wonderful, and after hearing my story didn't charge us for anything. The service, food, and experience was amazing. Additionally, my nephew was always doing random acts of kindness, it was in his DNA. So since we weren't charged for our meal I decided to pay it forward and picked up the tab for the next customer through the door. I can't thank them enough for making the trip special. Can't wait to go back again!”

“Every experience is fantastic! They have the best Rita's Italian Ice around. I absolutely love what they have done at the whiteoak location. Between new lighting and the gorgeous flowers all around its such a great atmosphere. The lavender smells great and the flowers are gorgeous. Plus the staff are amazing”

“Today’s order was exceptional. It had been a minute since I ordered from here as usually my order was messed up etc. today I was craving one of their chicken salads so I decided to get that and a pizza for my kids. Both items were amazing and perfect! I understand this place is under new ownership. The manager/owner even brought the food to my car and chit chatted with me a bit. 10/10 customer service. This makes a big difference.”

“Never had a problem with this location until yesterday. This is disgusting and it should have never been served. Thus is supposed to be the fish sandwich. Not only is it beyond burnt, it was saturated in grease like it was sitting for awhile.”

“We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.”

“Having travelled from Melbourne for dinner with family in Drouin we were very impressed with all aspects of our experience at Luciano's. “I really don’t understand the negative reviews at this restaurant. My daughter and I have been ordering from here for years and we’ve also been inside the restaurant to eat many times and we’ve never had a problem. Their food is very good. It’s always hot when we get it And it tastes fresh to us. I was very happy to hear the buffet was back and it’s just as good as it always was. I wouldn’t hesitate to go eat there again. We eat there a couple of times a month.”

“Ordered a whole fish sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato,onion and cheese and it was great.But the next time I get one and I will I will ask to have the bun toasted . And the customer service was was great also ,they were very kind to me . Can't wait to try other things on the menu.”

“3 separate arguments occurred while we were there on lunch break. One angry customer holding up the line with 1 worker, then the other worker was snippy to an online customer who was picking up. 15 minutes later the worker walked to the car if another customer who had words. Worker cane back in and that customer started to drive away, then pull back in parking space and stormed in. We saw that happen and we threw our food away and rushed out the door. That's my last trip to that location.
Price was also not worth the effort.”

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

“We are so lucky to have an establishment like Baby Loves Tacos in the East End! This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.”

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”
