“Tonight I made my first trip to Bull River Taco in White Oak. On Oct 18th my nephew had made his last trip to his favorite taco joint. later that evening he was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. So in his honor I wanted to go and have something from his favorite place. The owners were wonderful, and after hearing my story didn't charge us for anything. The service, food, and experience was amazing. Additionally, my nephew was always doing random acts of kindness, it was in his DNA. So since we weren't charged for our meal I decided to pay it forward and picked up the tab for the next customer through the door. I can't thank them enough for making the trip special. Can't wait to go back again!”

Tonight, I’m leaving this review immediately after walking out because our experience was just that unforgettable. I’m so grateful that my family and I decided to go out to eat tonight. We’ve been here a few times before for takeout, but tonight was our first time sitting down as a whole family of 6 and enjoying the full experience and it did not disappoint! Our food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The portions were great, and the prices were definitely worth it. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and had the biggest smiles. You could genuinely feel the warmth in the atmosphere. And then there was an extra special moment that made our night even more memorable. My daughter and I love to read, and tonight we picked up Sherri’s book, Where I Want to Be. We are already obsessed! Sherri, congratulations on your FIRST book! It was such a pleasure meeting you tonight. I truly believe that little unexpected moment made our entire night even more special. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful experience. “Every experience is fantastic! They have the best Rita's Italian Ice around. I absolutely love what they have done at the whiteoak location. Between new lighting and the gorgeous flowers all around its such a great atmosphere. The lavender smells great and the flowers are gorgeous. Plus the staff are amazing”

“Never had a problem with this location until yesterday. This is disgusting and it should have never been served. Thus is supposed to be the fish sandwich. Not only is it beyond burnt, it was saturated in grease like it was sitting for awhile.”

“We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.”

“We arrived shortly before it got crowded so we didn't have a wait. Our waitress (I'm horrible with names) was fabulous. Meals were delicious. A shared pizza, a massive fish sandwich and I got the bow ties with the diablo sauce. It wasn't as hot as I had expected. The peppers might have been mild. It was still very flavorful.
We got a Sicilian pizza to go. We haven't tried it yet because the meal portions were quite large.
Now that we found it, we will be back. There are too many meals I want to try.”

“I really don’t understand the negative reviews at this restaurant. My daughter and I have been ordering from here for years and we’ve also been inside the restaurant to eat many times and we’ve never had a problem. Their food is very good. It’s always hot when we get it And it tastes fresh to us. I was very happy to hear the buffet was back and it’s just as good as it always was. I wouldn’t hesitate to go eat there again. We eat there a couple of times a month.”

“Ordered a whole fish sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato,onion and cheese and it was great.But the next time I get one and I will I will ask to have the bun toasted . And the customer service was was great also ,they were very kind to me . Can't wait to try other things on the menu.”

“3 separate arguments occurred while we were there on lunch break. One angry customer holding up the line with 1 worker, then the other worker was snippy to an online customer who was picking up. 15 minutes later the worker walked to the car if another customer who had words. Worker cane back in and that customer started to drive away, then pull back in parking space and stormed in. We saw that happen and we threw our food away and rushed out the door. That's my last trip to that location.
Price was also not worth the effort.”

“We are so lucky to have an establishment like Baby Loves Tacos in the East End! This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.”

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.”

“We do not have an Indian restaurant where I live. It is my favorite cuisine. I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I will go no where else but this place going forward. So happy a decided to stop on a whim!”
