Ok, so this one will be interesting... Passing through this place on the way to another and decided to give this place a shot. I really like it. Good people, great vibe, really neat space. The location is great for people watching. All good, and now for the interesting part...Their espresso has that good, creamy mouth feel and flavor I like a lot. Great crema on top, too. The espresso itself starts tart, but still rich, and I love how it unfolds on the tongue. Soon behind the tart is a flavor almost like anise that lingers and then resolves into that sweet tart flavor most espressos have.That anise taste is new to me. I can tell that this is unique and makes it special. I can tell this is a really good espresso. And, I don't know if I like that flavor or not. Objectively, this is good espresso. Subjectively, I'm trying to figure out what I think about this taste. It's a new one to me.By all means, go here. Great place and great espresso . The special flavor is worth experiencing, for sure. If I lived closer, I'd be coming back several times to try and figure out what I thought about it for me.

I love Abide cafe. They do a "pay it forward board" that allows you to purchase or receive something on their menu for/from someone else. It is a relaxed atmosphere and completely worth the drive.
