Best sweet , thick pizza ever made . Hands down, for 50 plus years Angelo’s has been the best , and I have been going there since I was 3-4 .. so for 42 years … best pizza still to this day. If they would only expand and get some more ovens so a Friday night isn’t a 2.5 hour wait , hence the 3 in service.. but it’s in the smallest place in Wilkes barre w the most volume of calls .

This is the best pizza that NEPA has to offer. It is not exactly the pizza that you would expect from NYC, however, you have to try the sweet sauce. You will definitely become a repeat customer.

Our new regular spot!!My wife and I were looking for a new pizza place to frequent, and after watching the Barstool Sports "One Bite" review we had to try it.We were not disappointed. We got a medium regular pepperoni and a small sweet sauce pie because we are usually not sweet sauce fans.Both pies were AMAZING!! Best pizza we have had in the area.Parking: Parking is TIGHT

My girlfriend made me drive an hour and a half for this pizza. I was really skeptical about a pizza being worth a long drive like that when there is about 50 in my area alone. Wow worth the drive! The moment I stepped in, the smell of the sweet sauce and fresh ingredients hit me like a truck speeding in snow without breaks. The staff is extremely friendly and absolutely love the smile inside with newspaper clippings and a display of the original Angelo. Now the pizza I had was a pepperoni with the sweet sauce and it was fantastic. The bake was perfect and the sauce to dough to cheese ratio was perfect. They didn’t overdo nor underdo the amount of pepperoni either. Wasn’t overly greasy either! Try this amazing pizza. I think I would drive 8 hours for it… maybe don’t tell my girlfriend though…Parking: Nice amount of spots behind it.
