Applebee's Grill + Bar

Really bad. Waitress was super nice, but had too many tables and spreadout. The spinach artichoke dip was good. Everything else, terrible. Food took about 45 min at 3 pm on a Thursday. Shrimp platter, mushy, upcharged 2.50 for 8 waffle fries that were undercooked. Ordered mac and cheese without bacon, waitress put it in like that, kitchen failed to tell her it's also in the sauce..got another with diff sauce that was separation of cheese and butter, AND charged 4.50 for that instead of the same 2.50 as an upcharge. Other person got a burger, she said it was ok but the fries were like they'd been under a heat lamp -dry, lukewarm and awful.

If you are Spanish, do not go here. They are all very racist and will make you wait a long time to ever give you a menu and I won't doubt that they will spit in your food. They sure hired the wrong people at this location

WORSE EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD.
I visited this location today along with my wife and my two sons for our first time coming to eat in applebee's. When we entered, we were not greeted by anyone. A few minutes later, a man who looked at us up and down came, and without saying a word, he left to the table that I asked for. I asked for a table by the window, and once we sat down, another server came and closed the window, preventing us from looking outside, which is the point of any table that's by the window. she closed the window by going through our table and not saying one word. After that, we waited 15 more minutes, and no one came to even say hello to us. we decided to walk out and go to a different applebee's and end up having a great experience. Note: we were the only Spanish at the restaurant, and we were SHOCKED by the humiliation we received here. The workers were very racist, by the look in their eyes we felt we were unwanted here. No one should be treated the way we were treated here. I am looking to take legal actions for this.

I recently just came in for a late night dinner at Applebees. I would like to say that the employee summer is about one of the worst waitresses ive ever came across. I ordered BEFORE the kitchen was closed. She even pointed out a deal i should get. Proceeded to write it down and i assumed that i would get my order. Well unfortunately i didnt. SUMMER never put the meal in and then proceeded to act confused when i asked about the meal, even said “ why didnt you tell me about it”. As the customer how was i supposed to know.. especially if she brought out the rest of my tables food. Overall terrible experience here and i wouldn't have SUMMER as my waitress.

I’ve never been so annoyed more in my entire life. My friends and I went to Applebees after a basketball game. We put in our orders before the kitchen closed. Long story short, our waitress by the name of summer somehow “forgot” to put our orders in the computer and we were not given our meals. Summer, if you’re reading this, you suck at your job.

First off this is like the 3rd time we have given applebees a chance. Its disgusting to think that majority of their food now seems ro be microwaved. Definitely does not have the same quality of food that they did when they first became popular i ordered chicken nachos not only did they not give me sour cream and the guacamole. The cheese was half assed thrown on the nachos and so was the nasty litrle pea size diced chicken halfed ass with a contia er of white spicy cheese that had the texture of watered down gravy. With my meal and mu husbands through doordash paid 62 dollars for crap food. Never again.

This place really went down hill. I got the whiskey bacon burger they put 5 tear drops of sauce on burger the tomato was white cut at the end must be a tomato shortage. The coleslaw had no taste and was dry. Burger was sloppy and fell apart. My buddy got a steak he wanted it well and came out med rare. The men's bathroom smells like they clean it with a dirty mop. Waitress was very nice and the soda was good. I was a cook in some restaurants and I would definitely start cleaning house in this kitchen if people didn't smartin up. Won't be back at this location ever because I was there a year ago and food was cold. Many other people I know said the same thing about this location. I never had a problem at the Wilkes-Barre location. This is definitely a management problem.

It's Applebee's. The atmosphere was pretty quite. Our waitress was very good. Friendly and attentitive. The food was meh. Got a skillet that was over seasoned. Couldn't finish it. Got dessert too. That was good.

I wouldn't go back. There were 5 of us, with 3 ordering burgers & we were asked "pink or no pink" (i.e., rare-ish or not). I specified pink, but my burger was overcooked. I had to walk around to find my waitress to explain the problem. I took so-o-o long to get my replacement burger served that everyone else had already finished eating.

The service is always excellent and the staff is always friendly.
