We had a large group with several different entrees. Service was excellent as the waiters handled all the different requests for drinks, appetizers and entrees. The Egg Plant Rollatini and Seafood Risotto and Lobster Ravioli was delicious. Every entree was served hot. The exception was the Beef Stroganoff special, the beef was dry and the sauce was not flavorful. Deserts were good. Prices are $$$-$$$$. Our group enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend Cafe Toscana for a fine Italian meal.

Food is good not great. The ambiance is nice and it was a nice touch to have live music. The food is good for Wilkes Barre Pa. If you took this restaurant to any other area, it would never make it.
We had a 530 reservation, arrived early at 5:15 and come 6:55 had not received our meals. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty much empty. We were attending a show at the FM Kirby center for 730 and told the waiter that if the food didn’t come in the next five minutes to forget about the whole thing. Shortly there after the food did arrive however, the worst part in all of this is that the staff totally ignored us and failed to keep us posted on what was going on. The food was very good, but it arrived so late. I was only able to eat a small portion of it, and given that we were attending an event would not be able to bring it in with us. Interestingly, enough, we did not receive an apology from the manager or from Our server, but one of the other waiters brought us our meals and apologized. Given this restaurant has high reviews I am assuming that this is not the norm for this place. We were not the only customers that evening, who were in a similar spot..,
Terrible experience. Very long time for service. Completely disengaged wait staff who acted disinterested. Took over 90 min to be served. Food was mediocre except for pork chop which was described by a member of our party as raw & inedible. Have been there before w good experiences however after today, we will avoid future dining w extreme prejudice
