Amazing food and great service!
Food is amazing Perfect, staff is very friendly and the service is very good. I recommend this place to anyone who wants good Mexican food, best place in Wilkes-Barre
Always love to come here when I can! It's the only place I've found in Pennsylvania that tastes like the Mexican food I grew up with in California.
it was trash and the worst food i have ever had it was the worst and i cant stand it and all you karens suck ok boomer okay bbomer
Excellent food, very traditional.....the chicken torta was crazy good!
I ate here for the first time the other day. Several of my friends and family rave about the place and now I see why. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. The burrito I had was wonderfully seasoned and the portion was large. I really liked the dining area which is wide open, bright, and spotlessly clean. The waitress was fast, friendly, and ready to help. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick quality meal in downtown Wilkes-Barre.
Nice environment
Great spot for delicious food that's easy on the wallet. Staff is friendly and everything is tasty.

Stopped in for the first time today. I ordered a burrito that was the size of my forearm, served with three sauces, including an incredible cheese sauce. I can find a complaint about nearly anything I eat but I was too busy enjoying my meal to do that here. This is among the best food I've ever eaten in the Valley.
Three of us ordered a total of 8 different items for dinner. Everything tasted fresh from the microwave. Portion sizes very modest and leave a lot to be desired. Very few customers and now I know why.
El Zocalo is an unassuming downtown restaurant conveniently located on public square. Don't let its lack of the typically overwrought "Mexican" trappings fool you--the food is fantastic and thankfully more Mexican than the often heavily watered down Tex-Mex that passes for "Mexican food" the further you get from larger urban centers with viable Mexican-American communities.
Great service. Delicious food and dessert.
I eat there all the time
