Found this place a few months back when my daughter had a softball game up that way, and I was looking for a place to watch the Eagles on Sunday. This place did not disappoint for watching any Eagles game. It’s truly like a full eagle bar with the atmosphere of all the fans. Love the place went back a second time a week ago.
Love Franklin’s go there often. Yesterday we tried to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon however, we were disturbed by an individual with an amplifier and a microphone, professing religion, and the Bible to the point where his volume was disruptive to our meal. Employee of Franklin indicated that he’s been told about this before. Call the mayor’s office. Franklin's offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a few drinks or dinner. The decor is cool, and the garage-door style seating creates a beachy vibe. The drink selection is impressive, featuring various cocktails and a substantial beer selection with a good spread of styles. Food-wise, the zucchini fries and soft pretzel remain highlights, and the garlic cheesesteak has received high praise for its toasted roll and meat-to-cheese blend, making it a must-try. The Ahi Tuna bites also surprised guests with their good texture and flavor, despite the teriyaki sauce not being a favorite for everyone. The buffalo chicken and bonfire dishes are decent, but the cheese sauce might not suit all cheese connoisseurs. The fries continue to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned. Service from staff, including Grace and bartender Matt, stands out as particularly friendly and welcoming, even during busy times. Franklin's is a great place for a low-key visit or a return trip, especially for those in the Wilkes-Barre area.
