Love Franklin’s go there often. Yesterday we tried to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon however, we were disturbed by an individual with an amplifier and a microphone, professing religion, and the Bible to the point where his volume was disruptive to our meal. Employee of Franklin indicated that he’s been told about this before. Call the mayor’s office. His secretary says it’s permissible and that if it bothers me for me to call 911 for the police to handle. Spent a lot of money between drinks and dinner there not happy at all. Wilkes-Barre‘s administration want people to come downtown and patronize businesses. I’m not gonna go down there if I’m gonna have to listen to that for two hours.

The food and drinks are always great at Franklin’s but the fact that they a let a VIP (very intoxicated person) or in their eyes, someone who spends too much money and time there, sexually assault me and my friends, get kicked out and then come back and have more drinks is just sad. I will not be returning and until there is a change at this bar, I suggest no one else goes to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

Good food and decent drinks. Friendly staff and atmosphere. However many times I come here, bartenders show favoritism to some clientele. Not to mention, it feels like they don't have air in the summer. Sweat dripping into my eyes. Not relaxing

Top tier set me back with the garlic cheesesteak. Now I’m from Philly and can respect a twist and different cultures but some how did not disappoint. I like the toasted roll as well as meat to cheese blend. Perfection and highly recommend. Fries were crispy but soft on the inside and perfectly seasoned. Must say excellent all around.

Popped in with some friends on a Saturday afternoon. There was a protest across the street and a big show next door, so it was a bit more active then usual, but the bartender, Matt, held it down all on his lonesome like a champ!
Cocktails were good and the beer selection fairly substantial, with a good spread of styles.
As a person who grew up in Idaho, I am picky about fries and their fries are pretty solid! I was very pleasantly surprised with the Ahi Tuna bites. The fish had a good texture and flavor (The sauce is a teriyaki, which is not my favorite for nice tuna, but still tasty) I have a very sensitive stomach, and there were no issues later, which is an absolute win!

Nice surprise on a random trip to Wilkes Barre on a Sunday. Stopped in for a beer, but stayed for the huge selection of mixed drinks. Stayed even longer once we say the food menu. Highly recommend the Steak Bites appetizer. Everything was top notch, our server was so nice. Plus they had the Eagles game on multiple screens. Go Birds.
