Grotto Pizza

The added a new sweet sauce to their pizza offerings. Definitely coming back for the square pizza with it. Can get loud in the dining room. I like going at lunchtime.

Ordered a 12 inch pizza with a little extra sauce. Pizza smaller than the pan, probably 11 inches. No extra sauce, in fact the sauce didn’t reach the edges of the crust. Overdone, burnt like areas on top of pizza. Talked to the server about it, she didn’t really know what to say or do. I didn’t feel confrontational, so I just paid and left.

By replying to customers when they had a problem. I have sent emails , did the survey and commented on Facebook. Even received a confirmation my email was accepted and nothing. You charge $9 more dollars for 2 large pies in restaurant than take out. How is that fair? Did we rent the dishes?????

I went to order dough company & quickly learned they are closed on Sundays. Had a chicken wing slice at Bloomsburg fair so gave it a shot. I don’t know who made the pizza’s but they were terrible. It was like an Amazon prime box with some cheese & a splash of wing sauce. Was craving pizza & this was a fail.

The staff was incredibly rude. When asked for a window seat they rolled their eyes and said no it was reserved for a party and proceeded to seat us in another area. As we walked away, we turned around and saw them snickering and laughing just as you would expect from a bunch of teens. And later they seated other guests in the seat we requested and put the "party" guests right next to us. On top of all that the pizza was horrible, the salad was horrible, and the fried veggies were horrible. Nothing was homemade, not even the pizza crust, yet prices are high. I don't know what happen to this business, but it is nothing like it was, probably because they have teens running the show. Grottos is off my list for places to go for sure.
