Haslins Cafe is now under new ownership. I miss the old owner, he was so sweet to me. It is now Hit n Sip, on George Ave, Parsons, Pa. We stopped by for dinner and drinks tonight. My husband had chicken cheese steak and it was delicious. The chicken is fresh not frozen. The bun was toasted. So delicious. . Made to order, asked if he wanted the peppers and cheese on it. He dis. So yummy
I had a pizza with onions. It was thin and and plenty of cheese and onions. They were not skimpy. . It was so delicious .
The bartender, owner,and cook were so friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable and the music on jukebox was great.

Hold your breath walking in. Full throttle smoking bar. You will stink like a cigarette ? . No white wine. You're charged 5 dollars for 4 oz of cheap red that you would pay 8 bucks for a big bottle at the liquor store. Big X on this place for me.

Local crowd, not much seating, but friendly service and a nice quiet atmosphere. Primarily an older crowd but I was there on a Wednesday so I don't know if weekends are different. Pool table is kept very clean. Prices are average for a "corner bar" in the area.
