awesome spot for chinese food here. staff are very polite and the broth of the shrimp soup was actually spicy and came with fried onions. definitely returning!

If you want good food and wonderful service you must come to Ho Yi... it's one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is very good..the portions are enough for lunch the next day and the service by Sue(owner) is fabulous. Everything is very clean and an excellent place to bring the family.

Food is outstanding no matter what we order.

Hunan Beef with Pork Fried Rice was OUTSTANDING! It's quite possible Ho Yi may make the best Chinese food in the Wyoming Valley.

Best Chinese restaurant in the valley that can accommodate any order. Very underrated Soup Bowl selections. There may not be ramen or other asian soup locations in the area so this is refreshing to see. Be sure to get the Udon noodle soup with roast pork!

Spent $20 on two sweet and sour chicken combos and will never do it again. The best part of the whole combo was the sweet and sour sauce. The rice didn’t have any scallions, onions, nothing else in it besides pork. The rice had zero flavor and tasted like it was minute ready rice. The chicken was dry with no moisture. I took a bite of the rice and the chicken and threw it in the garbage.

MUST TRY! Had the hunan chicken, lil spicy as per request and it was just that, absolutely tasty. Ordered also general Tso's hot , it was ? ? but delicious. From what I gather they cook based off your spice preference, I approve! It reminds me of a mix between Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisine?! The pork fried rice was delish not lack luster like a previous review stated.(maybe not enough msg for them?) The food was clean tasting and left no regrets after:). I'd gladly drive past 20 restaurants to indulge in what I'd like to call a Chinese flare restaurant that's family owned ?. Well done they earned the 5 ?#NotYourTypicalChineseFood#itsBetter

Go anywhere else. The food is ever flavorless or it's tastes spoiled.

Hello Food Fanatics! And even a hello to my "Thumbs Down" viewers! Today's episode takes me to one of the few Chinese Restaurants that are open for indoor dining. This is Ho Yi Chinese, now I was hungry for shrimp so I got a plate of beef, shrimp, vegetables and the lo mein. As you can see in the video this was a monster plate of Chinese. I had a very good dining experience, the beef was tender and soft, shrimp perfectly done, the noodles were cooked spot on, (and i don't think you can screw up noodles), well I take that back, years ago before I was food blogging I went to a restaurant that screwed up breakfast, thats another story in itself.... twice Now as per Ho Yi I recommend all the way!
