Cook made the experience fun. Food is wonderful. Sitting with another family or two makes it a little unnerving but you would expect that considering it is hibachi.

Went for lunch here and was vary unsatisfied with the sushi. Roll was pretty empty inside and a lot of rice on it. I've ate sushi at plenty of places and this would be one of the bottom places I've ever been to.

I don't know what happened, but just a couple of years ago, Katana was a great place for sushi. On a recent visit, the service was okay, but the sashimi dinner had much to be desired. The sushi quality was nothing to celebrate. Furthermore, the cuts of sashimi were half the size one would expect. It took me a couple of minutes to finish my meal, and I was starving - even with seaweed salad, which was also of small volume, a side salad, and miso. Needless to say, the meal was disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

I'm SAD I hear roomers of this local icon going out of business soon this year! The staff is terrific, the Hibachi and Sushi are terrific, the place is dated same as 1996 but that's why I love this place! I hope someone takes this place over n makes it better but still keep it a classic! It's been here way before the over hyped Saki joints that get you drunk n give you low end food at the Hibachi table, it's classy and respectful for all ages, it will be missed! Keep doing what your doing Katana until the end!

BEST sushi in this area! It's about a 45 minute drive from where I live, but that alone should speak volumes about how good the food is! The sushi is FANTASTIC! The Hibachi is out of this world! We have gone to Katana for a handful of of birthdays and anniversaries! Staff is always very nice and the guys at the sushi bar are awesome!
