Been going here for years. Food is great and the kids like the mariachi band.

I was on vacation and visiting new Mexican restaurants in the Wilkes Barre PA area, so I arrived at Tolteca, which in its advertising says it is an authentic Mexican restaurant. We have no complaints about the food, but we ordered some margaritas that were in large glasses on the menu. and when the waiter brought it, he brought a small glass that was not for serving margaritas, it also had no decoration, only the salt that I had to ask because the waiter did not have the courtesy to ask if I wanted a large or small margarita or what I wanted it with, yes. salt or sugar, so he was asked why they didn't serve me the margarita in the glass that appears on their drinks menu, he answered that those photos were just advertising and that if we wanted to suggest something he was going to call the manager. When the manager arrived he also confirmed that what appears is only for advertising and that it was the waiter's fault for not offering us the service adequately. Besides, they didn't have Mexican music, only bachata music, and lastly, the guacamole cart is very noisy, which is very annoying for customers who want to eat in a quiet environment.

Great food in our server was wonderful. The only problem I have is they put a new roof on the outside eating area and the enclosed it in plastic which made it very warm back there. They should roll up the plastic when it's nice

I've been here every time I come to these places and this time it's been 5 times and I love the food at this place and the staff serve you in the most friendly way.

Great did and staff, porttions are good sized so there's always something to take home for later.

Food was absolutely amazing! Got the grilled pineapple guacamole, San Jose burrito, and chicken and spinach burrito. Everything was delicious. The chips and salsa also had great flavor. Service was exceptional and the mariachi band made for a fun evening.

Everything was good except the service. The waiter we had was horrible. Not the first time having really bad service at this restaurant. The food was good overall and the restaurant appearance was very nice.
