I don’t go out much and wanted to go here for years. The place is great. Gorgeous, fantastic chairs, great food and great service. They seem to have a concept of slow dining which is not for me but that maybe because I was there for a trivia brunch or they didn’t think I wanted to get a buzz on a Sunday afternoon, either way everything was great and saved me some money by only getting 2 drinks to me instead of the 5 I intended to buy. Will go back! Went back and took my mom. She loved it and I only had a soda and they were very attentive to refills on that because they didn’t have to deal with the Trivia crowd. The food and service was wonderful again, give them business when u want a stress free romantic night out or a brunch with mom but dress up and feel fancy in the atmosphere they provide.

Kid-friendliness: Kids just don’t belong at brunch unless it’s Disney trivia

I've been there twice since they've changed names, the most recent was last night. Each time everything was wonderful. The atmosphere is really nice with tables spaced as not to give a cafeteria feel as other fine dining restaurants do. Then the service was nothing short of perfect. The timing, from drinks to dessert, was impeccable! No feeling of being rushed and no feeling about being forgotten. Everything from the drinks to dessert was very tasty. I definitely will return.

I loved the food at Bank and Vine the last time I was there (about two years ago). This time was completely different - some of the food was cold, and most of it was bland. The wait staff was great and did what they could to rectify the experience. The restaurant itself is so nice. Hoping it was just an off-night for the chef.

My friends and I went to their Bridgerton brunch. It was really cute but misleading. We thought the mimosas and flowers were included with the 50$ ticket, we were charged and additional $30 for the drinks and $20 for the bouquet… The service and atmosphere was great! We enjoyed ourselves and mingled. All of the appetizers were delicious but the main course was under whelming. The eggs Benedict was undercooked, the crab came straight from a container, it wasn’t cooked prepared and differently. The French toast was literally 1 piece ( these were 2 different Main courses, you choose one or the other and the crab was a 9$ upgrade) …. I had to send it back twice and on the third time that bright me someone else’s food. At that point. I didn’t want anything.. lol.. over all it was fun they just need to work out there menu for their themes.

Food was terrific! Service in the vault was very slow, although the restaurant was not busy. It's possible they were short on staff. It was almost as though we were forgotten about at times. We'd ordered a first and second course, prior to entrees. Rather than coming as they were ordered, in courses, they were all brought at the same time. The new restaurant manager, Brian, was very friendly and did jump in when he'd noticed we were waiting for service.

In town for business and came across this place. Ordered the lamb, great presentation, but not alot of flavor. The server, host and manager were very attentive and the atmosphere was okay(too cold). I’d give them another try, just not the lamb dish.

Dessert, tiramisu was just okay. Was expecting more flavor… I finished it, but wasn’t really impressed with this selection.

This is a very nice restaurant but they were not prepared to do a Sunday brunch. The menu featured multiple entrees with lox but unfortunately the kitchen ran out of lox. Our party arrived at roughly 11:30. There were diners already engaged but there were many empty tables. They also ran out of bloody Mary mix and my one friend's Bellini was pathetic. I ordered eggs Benedict which was very disappointing as the poached egg was barely cooked.

Wow the food was really awful! My partner had the octopus, which was way overcooked and too much citrus (lemon/line?) The beef tartare was a mushy mess, with lousy mayonnaise. The duck was indelibly overcooked, and salted like we were going on a wagon train out west. The seafood fry is grossly over breaded, and, perhaps not surprising for such an amateur restaurant in NE PA, really lousy. The front of the house was very gracious, but they admitted there was a new "chef". Over seasoned and really disappointed, the ducj

My fiance and I have been here maybe for the 5th time now and as he's a chef himself, he's never once complained, the food is really that great! We love the specials, date night, the seafood boils and the services always amazing. Absolutely will be back! (The building itself has a really neat history so everything's nice to look at also) Lastly, any and all drinks are top notch!

The maitre d' (owner?) was very helpful with the wine and even offered to open a bottle of Trois Neveux Sauvignon Blanc that was reserved for a wine flight special that night. (Enjoyed it immensely.) And Christine, our waitress, was very personable and helpful with the food. Our summer salad was great with its oranges, almond slices, red onion bits and feta. The cacio e pepe and salmon entrees were also very good. Can't wait to return!

My family planned a celebratory brunch at Bank & Vine, making a reservation for about 15 people. Service started off well, then our server's attention to us was sporadic, to the point by brother had to walk to the bar to get more drinks.

The biggest disappointment and reason for this review is the 2 hour wait it took for us to get our food and the unsympathetic attitude of the manager. Our reservation was for 11:30, we ordered around 11:45 11:50, and our food didn't come out until 1:30. At that point, I had to leave to attend a meeting at 2:00, and couldn't even enjoy my celebratory meal with my family. Being that we had a reservation, they knew a large party was coming and should have planned the expedite process accordingly, but they really dropped the ball.

The manager seemed unsympathetic to the situation and the fact I had to leave my celebration brunch with my food in a to go bag. Although he gave us my meal for free, it doesn't make up for the excessive wait, lack of care, and tarnished memory of what was supposed to be a good occasion.

For that reason, I do not plan on coming back (after going there several times) and would not recommend Bank and Vine for brunch.
