I've eaten at Miller's Ale House twice, about six months apart, and both visits were consistently excellent. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that delivers the same quality food and friendly hospitality every time.

On my first visit, I ordered the Slow Roasted Prime Rib French Dip, and it's still one of the best French dip sandwiches I've had. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and piled generously onto the roll, while the au jus was rich without being overly salty. If you've never been here before, I highly recommend starting with this sandwich. Pair it with the loaded fries—they're worth it.

When I returned several months later, I decided to try something different and ordered a steak, while my son chose one of their burgers. Once again, everything was cooked exactly as ordered, served fresh, and tasted fantastic. It's always a good sign when a restaurant can deliver consistently across different menu items instead of relying on just one signature dish.

Another thing that stood out was the hospitality. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout both visits. As someone who travels with a service dog, I also appreciated how accommodating and respectful everyone was, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish.

Whether you're stopping in to watch a game, grab dinner with family, or simply looking for a dependable place with a large menu and generous portions, Miller's Ale House in Wilkes-Barre is an easy recommendation. Great food, friendly service, and consistent quality have earned them a repeat customer.

They are easily located right off I-81at exit 168, certainly a great stop if hungry and traveling. There is also a grocery store and several gas stations in the area.

Unfortunately the bartender is extremely racist and completely ignored our group I totally love this place but my experience today was super uncomfortable she take care of every single one of the costumers in the bar but once it was the time to past by us she completely walk away and look the other way ignoring that we where calling and putting our hands up to get serve. I have never feel so ignored in a place like I did tonight, we where there to watch the Colombian soccer game and let feeling absolutely mistreated it take us 15 min to get only our check, a place at this level been a franchise should learn how to train their employees better. Won’t be back again 👎

Kayla went above and beyond for us, very patient as it was our first time here, apps came fast, food came hot, and very friendly the whole time.

My wife and I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Had to review today because we both had THE BEST BURGERS! Most places make them over done. Ours were done perfectly! Hopefully they keep the awesome staff that they have.

Food was tasty, but took longer than I expected to be served at the bar. Once they got to me, they were more than helpful, just perhaps a very busy time?

Recommended dishes: Burgers

Split an order of ribs. It was ok but nothing special.

Good service, food was good. Really great burger

Not only was the food excellent, but we had multiple people in our party with dietary restrictions (not the same types) and our server Steven handled that beautifully. I especially recommend the prime rib special for meat lovers - it's huge!
