Prior to the new owner everything was 5 stars. The baristas are still amazing, they are so nice and make great drinks. The main reason for this review is the hours. Since the change in ownership the cafe is randomly closed (both with and without notice). The worst is when I try to make a quick coffee run before work and they are closed without notice on their Instagram so I waste a bunch of time and can’t get a coffee in the morning.

Not a huge fan of the new change. First I come in to order a sandwich but they are all out of bread. I ordered a drink with cold foam but it is completely different than typical and is liquid consistency with no thickness to it. Never had this issues with previous ownership. Also still waiting for this new points system to be put in place and sad that I was told my previous punch card is invalid.
Under new ownership, this once-beloved local coffee shop has seen a noticeable decline. Operational changes such as a confusing POS system, inconvenient layout adjustments, and inconsistent weekday hours have disrupted both staff workflow and customer experience. It’s disappointing to see a previously well-run establishment lose its charm and reliability.

Probably the best coffee in the area when it’s actually open. Ever since the new ownership took over, it’s closed at seemingly random times. Who closes a coffee shop on a college campus on a Saturday?
Ever since Pour has gotten a new owner they have gone down hill. A few of us would go every weekday morning to get our coffee and or treat to eat in the morning. Since the ownership has changed they have closed on many days including Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as closing all Saturdays until the end of October. This morning we go for coffee and we come to find that the cafe is closed without any posting on social media and the sign out front said we are open come in.
Not only that they have gone down in the quality of their drinks and offered specialty drinks. With that being said their prices have gone up a lot. Let me know why they charge 25 cents for whole milk or 2% to be added to their coffee. It seems that the existing baristas are too nervous around the new owner because he talks down to them. The baristas are one of the selling points of this shop because they are so sweet and know how to make drinks well.

Had one of their signature coffees and loved it! Also tried the bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant so good. Definitely a must try!

Good but prefer sister store, Drip Coffee in Pittston. They are more consistent with making drinks.

Abide was closed so I settled for pour in hopes to support small and local business. Unfortunately I was met with quite literally the worst customer experience imaginable. I asked to 2 chais, one oat milk and the other normal with a shot of espresso and each with exactly 1 pump caramel. I don’t think this is outlandish of a request. The server said “let me write this down before I have an aneurysm” before botching the order, putting 3 pumps caramel into each and serving me two lukewarm beverages. If you can’t work customer service, go find another job.

I tried again after a month since my last bad review.. I honestly give up at this point. The employees are so incompetent truly. I’m being as kind as I can be in that. I’m glad my last review made a refund happen.. but at this point I just want you guys to hire competent baristas. We order.. two pastries a sandwich & two coffees. They had the pastures over with no bag.. odd but okay. My fiancé then sits there for 10 minutes while more and more people get their orders that came after him. The person who checked him out looks over and goes “did you get your coffees” he said. “No” she looks at the girl she put the cups down for who says “I didn’t see it said no oat milk” and then they all start laughing hysterically? I didn’t know failing to do your job properly is funny.. they then say “did you get your sandwich” reminder it has been 10 minutes since he ordered… multiple people after him have been given their items and left. They say “oh we will get right on that” with a giggle and then SIMPLY DONT? He’s there for another 5-10 minutes… the food is great. Sadly the coffee is awful which I don’t understand because it used to be so good with the older workers. This uncristables coffee… taste like absolutely nothing? Please get better hires. I was such an avid patron and now I won’t be. Which sucks. I really liked this place. I really loved the old employees who actually cared.

I work downtown and frequent all of the cafes. This one is by far the best option.
