We drove two hours to load up ! Perogies, paczki, butter cookies and nut rolls πŸ˜‹ Worth the trip but I recommend you place your order the day before. They often sell out.

Small town bakery 🧁 The kind you use to see as a kid ( if you're an old fart ) The smell greets you at the door. Nothing fancy just darn good pastries. The butter cookies are to die for 😱 Love their hand-made perogies. A must go-to. We drive two hours from Philadelphia πŸ˜‹

Neighborhood friendly bakery and excellent customer service. Very unique pastries, pineapple and lemon. The prune pastries nice size serving. Prices reasonable. Entry very clean and comfortable. Reminiscent of that southern retro 1950 - 1960 setting from the entry door, opening and closing. The glass server/ holder for the pastries. The wrapping paper for the potato, onions, beef pattie meal. Seeing the butcher paper advertising sign, hand written. Present well and welcoming ambience.

While on a visit to Wilkes-Barre to visit a family member, I wanted to stop at Premo's to pick up a poppy seed and nut roll. The poppy seed roll was OK, but the nut roll was horrible. Hardly any filling and thick breading. They've been baking these rolls for probably more than 50 years and this is what you get? It's not rocket science to roll out the dough, apply the filling and roll it up. These rolls were $ 12.00 each, so not cheap.

Happen to be in town for the day and stopped by before they closed. Sue is so nice and was so helpful! Got a lot of goodies to take back to Maryland. They have the best nut roll around! Premo's is a must stop whenever I'm in Wilkes Barre! Freezing my nut roll for Christmas!

Lady waiting on us very nice but she sold us completely stale bagels. Pecan rolls tasty but probably day old. Eclairs far from fresh but pudding inside very good. Very sorry as I wanted to give a high rating
