Amazing food, delicious drinks, and great service! Everything came out fresh and full of flavor from the appetizers to the entrées. Perfect spot for a night out, highly recommend!

I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Rustic Kitchen. I have dietary limitations, but I’ve never had an issue being accommodated when dining out—until now.
First, I want to highlight that our waitress was excellent. She was kind, attentive, and did her best. The problem was with management. I requested a kids’ grilled cheese (since I don’t eat meat, seafood, or much else on the menu) and even offered to pay full adult pricing and add a small house salad. The manager flatly refused, insisting kids’ meals are only for children under 12. I respect the policy, but I also know flexibility is possible, especially when a paying customer is asking to be charged more, not less.
With no real options left, I ordered a Caesar salad with no dressing. What I received was simply romaine lettuce, croutons, and parmesan crisps (which I don’t eat). It was hardly a meal, and to make matters worse, they charged me $2 extra for “extra croutons” I never ordered. Although this was eventually removed from the bill, I was still told that in the future, any “extras” would come at a cost—even though this wasn’t the case here.
I left hungry, frustrated, and disappointed—especially since we’ve dined here many times before without issue. This could have easily been handled differently. Allowing me to pay the adult price for a kids’ menu item would have solved the problem and ensured a positive experience. Instead, I left feeling unvalued as a customer.
I truly hope management reconsiders how they handle situations like this in the future.

Rustic Kitchen is hands down one of the best dining experiences at Mohegan Sun. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale — warm lighting, inviting décor, and an energy that makes you feel welcome right away.

The food is outstanding. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the seafood was fresh, and the steak was absolutely spot-on. You can tell the chefs take real pride in what they serve.

Service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, offered great recommendations, and made sure we felt taken care of the entire evening.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or a pre-casino meal, Rustic Kitchen delivers every time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We spent the day at Mohegan for two birthdays in our family. We celebrated at Rustic Kitchen after a losing streak on the floor. Kaye the manager took care of us almost immediately. What a personality! We wanted her to join us for dinner because she made us feel like family. The food was great. Kaye and the waiters were all incredible. Our drinks were constantly refilled. Our food quality was great. We will be back. 5 star service. Kaye should be recognized for her hospitality.

My wife and I had dinner there last night. Everything was spot on- from the wait staff do the food especially the Pork Chop the chefs grandmothers recipe. We were asked by 5 different people how our food was during our dinner. The evening prior we ate at Ruth Chris next door. Forget the
500F sizzling plate - mins of lost the sizzle. Don't get me wrong not horrible but I think Ruth can take a few pointers from the manager and staff from the friendly folks next door. Ruth's Filet Migion was ok just not great as it should have been for the cost.

We always look forward to dining at Rustic Kitchen. The people there treat us like family. Leah, Paula, Carissa, John and Ray are our favorite waiters/waitresses. The food is always great and the service is phenomenal. We go there so often, they know what we like to drink and know our favorite meals. Highly recommend Rustic Kitchen. ❤️

I have been here a few times. 1 of the few was for the cooking show. Soooo much fun. Alot of laughs and great food. Last time we went was for Father's Day 2025. Ordered appetizers wine entrees etc. great service and food. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Met a fun nice couple at the bar while waiting. Good vibes only

The drinks were great, the service was great but the food...I ordered the veal parm, it must have been deep fried - the edges were curling up - salty, and tough but I was hungry so I ate it and paid for it. It might have died under the heat lamp, not sure but for $35 it should have been better. They say the pasta was home made, mine was pretty mushy so I am not too sure about that. The apps were decent, the calamari was light and not tough. Not what I expected and the front desk recommended this place too.

The service was great, and we really enjoyed the strawberry salad, popcorn chicken, and mashed potatoes. However, the steak was dry, the vegetables were undercooked, and overall the main dish was just average. The mushroom side was much too sweet for our taste, but the drinks were good.

P.S. If you’re visiting with kids, be prepared for a bit of a detour—you’ll need to enter through the race track entrance

I have food allergies and have difficulty eating out. My work had a big dinner at RK last night and I was very concerned about getting sick, as many restaurants have claimed that their food was safe for me when it absolutely was not! I stopped by RK ahead of the dinner to ask questions and sort out what I would be ordering, rather than hold my party up later with all my questions. I cannot praise the staff enough! They were knowledgeable about their food and ingredients, and were beyond helpful with any questions I had. They had multiple options for me, and said they could make most menu items safe as well. The food was amazing and I did not have any reactions from it! I am thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be back!
