I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in Wilkes Barre that has forever changed my perception of Latin cuisine - a little cart that serves up the most mouthwatering arepas (not on the menu - $8 and it takes 8 minutes to make) and a wide array of Mexican delights. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew it was authentic. 99% of the customers are Hispanic, and you can also bring your beer and sip it while enjoying the food. They take credit card payments, and you can pay via apple pay, etc. This truck might not catch your eye at first glance, but believe me, it's a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered. These golden, crispy corn arepa pockets are filled with a variety of delectable ingredients that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Order only one because it's filing. The hot sauces that accompany the arepas are okay. Perhaps skip them. We had chicken arepas. They recently raised the price from $6 to $8 per arepa, and my Latin friends were not happy with the price increase but it does take 8 minutes to make them. Their menu features an extensive selection of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas (enough for two meals at $13 per quesadilla), all made with the freshest ingredients. Whether you opt for the succulent carne asada, the zesty al pastor, or the flavorful vegetarian options, you'll be treated to an explosion of flavors that will transport you straight to the streets of Mexico. While we were eating, several Mexican construction workers came for their dinner, as well as some white-non Hispanic patrons who came because the aroma of the food was amazing. Don't expect it to be a 5-star restaurant. As for the ambiance, it's a "hole in the wall." It's a place where the focus is entirely on the food, and that's exactly how it should be. If you're a fan of Latin and Mexican cuisine and find yourself in Wilkes Barre, you simply must try this place. And for those of you who don't speak Spanish, they speak fluent English.

If I could give this food truck a million stars i absolutely would!! Delicious is all I can say I had 3 chicken tinga tacos and omg yum my husband had 3 tostadas 2 shrimp 1 chorizo. Do you know what we did after we ate them? We looked at each other and agreed we could have some more so he went back and got me 2 more tacos and hisself 2 more tostadas now beef. What I’m trying to say is it’s worth the money the time everything stop by it’s that delicious
