Great food! Great people! Everything I had was delicious and the staff are super friendly. I love the cabbage! I was skeptical at first but the seasoning is perfect! The corn bread, the hush puppies, the chicken… everything tastes great!

Delicious seafood. Chicken tenders were amazing! These guys know how to make a delicious batter for whatever they are frying up. Also, I really appreciated how the French fries were cooked perfectly! Lightly crispy on the outside, yet pillowy soft on the inside. They nailed it! Bring your appetite and get ready to feel like family. Get your soul down to AKAK!

It is rare that I find myself counting down the days for a restaurant to open so I can eat there again. The perfectly breaded and seasoned catfish, the warm and gooey mac and cheese. I cannot express how much I love eating at this place. I am going to eat it for dinner tonight. I can not get enough! Compliments to all involved in making this delicious food.
Enjoyed the fish and greens, recommend everyone to take a break from cooking and enjoy a home cook meal.

Exactly what this town has been missing. The food is exactly what you hoped it would be. A little disappointed my first order from here was missing three whole items...mostly because i was really looking forward to trying all of it!! I was credited so all is well and i guess i’ll be looking forward to tasting those items in the future. Thank you
