The waitress was nice. The Sazerac was TINY. Glass half full with huge ice cube. After ice cube was removed, maybe one finger of liquid, including mixers. I took a photo. Terrible. Why was it smoked? The smoke ruined the tart flavors. The burger was really rare, but I requested medium. The space is very loud. The area between tables is so small it forces staff and patrons to turn sideways so as to come in contact with those seated. The door to the kitchen is ajar. I don't want to see the kitchen. A glaring red light bulb with no cover or filter is over the kitchen door. It comes on without warning, and you absolutely must avert your eyes. You can't look at your dinner companion when it's on. Oh well. Big disappointment.

Visiting our daughter at college and a Google Maps search for food landed us at Barrel 135. The reviews sold us and after stepping inside, we were not disappointed! The cocktail menu had a lot of great options, we tried 4 or 5 and were impressed with each one for different reasons.Food was not what I expected walking in, but was right up our alley for something different. The short rib ramen was great, nice big chunks of meat, a good kick in the broth, and was something that I wouldn’t typically land on at a first-time visit… but glad I did. The poke bowl and seared tuna were also great options and tasted great.Desserts were out of this world, we literally each got our own because we couldn’t decide on one to share. Again, zero disappointment in that decision and would do it again. Our server was fun and energetic, made us feel like we had been friends for years, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will most certainly take this stop again when we’re back in the area.

The place was comfortable even on a cold day. Lots of people were there so it was pretty loud, but the food was great and I had a good drink. Our whole group enjoyed the food/drink so I'm not just speaking for myself. Could be cheaper but they had a decent gluten free selection. I can vouch for the separation since I have celiac disease and did not get sick. I would definitely go back!

Went for Sunday brunch. Delicious French onion soup. Got the weekly special- lobster Benedict, large clusters of lobster meat! Was not disappointed.

Fast service, seems pretty busy, would recommend making a reservation just to guarantee you get a seat.

Kid friendly bar/restaurant. We were out with two of our great friends for dinner. We had our infant along. Kelly brought us a bowl of hot water to warm our infant's bottle. She even offered us the loft above the bar for a much safer, more sanitary, and more spacious spot to change our infant. Just bring your own changing pad.

This place has been one of my favorites since I went to Lycoming College back in 2012! I live on the other side of the country and every rare occasion that I'm back in Williamsport, I make it a point to stop into Barrel and grab martinis (that are always delicious and creative) and food that is always above par for Williamsport. Thank you Barrel for being such an amazing long standing restaurant!

The food is fantastic and the craft drinks, while a bit pricey, are wonderful! I had the Maple Bacon Manhattan, it was yummy goodness and just what I wanted on a cold fall evening. Their French Fries are awesome and the steak poke bowl is sweet & spicy and the steak was very tender.
