Wanted a quick sandwich for lunch and search engine lead us to Casale's. It's very old school: you walk up to the counter, place the order, and whenever it's ready the server brings it to your table.
There was one person working and we were convinced we were gonna be there forever. Somehow she knocked out two cold sub sandwiches, two grilled pita sandwiches, some garlic cheese bread, and two fountain sodas in under 15 minutes.
She's a rockstar.
Parking: Not a lot of street spots available. The lot catty corner will run you about $2 for an hour or two. Not worth the ticket even on a Saturday.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. It's no Chuck E. Cheese, but they'll be okay.
Wheelchair accessibility: You can eat here if you're in a wheelchair. Door is wide enough and the tables move around.

I ordered a half Philly cheesesteak, 8.27 is a good price but...The employee taking my order repeated it back to me before taking payment. It wasn't a complicated order, I asked for all veggies, no mayo.I didn't bother to ask her to fix the sandwich I got, because I was given a strange look when I asked for a receipt when ordering; first time anyone has given me a dirty look like that after paying for something.Good quality sandwich if you don't care what you're eating, I guess. Would rather pay more for customer service

Oh my goodness! We were so lucky to stumble on this gem! We had breakfast here every morning while we were in Williamsport! The food is delicious and the owner was so hospitable! Highly recommend, you will not be sorry! If we find ourselves back in the area, we will definitely be repeat customers!

This place has good subs but holy cow are they rude!!! I have never experienced such an attitude when visiting a place to eat. Will never return again. Hopefully you catch them on a good day. Matter of fact this whole town of Williamsport could use an attitude makeover!!!!!!!!
The very definition of “no frills.” It’s not a fancy place, but the food is good, the prices are very affordable, and the woman behind the counter (who seems to do it all — cooks, serves, and rings you up) is a hilarious curmudgeon who will chew your ear off if you feel like talking!

This is my first time going there. I got a whole grinder. The owner is a fantastic woman. She made my sandwich quicker than expected, and was very personable. The food was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back. Can't wait to try all of her food.
