Hoby's Hoagies & Pizza

3 times I have ordered from this place. The first order was perfect. Little heavy on the lettuce on hoagie. The second I picked up my order and asked for extra peppers on the side. They loaded the sandwich with peppers and put 1 little plastic container on the side. I had to take it back. To their credit, they remade the sandwich without question. 3rd time asked for peppers on the side. Didn't get any peppers. And the lettuce was wilted and brown. Will not be ordering from them again.

Services and decor were really nice for a pizza Takeout or Delivery shop. That said the pizza doh was fabulous, unfortunately the sauce was disappointing no substance, little flavor and the cheese while good produce a tad bit too much grease. If they could mix it with a less greasy cheese it would be great.

This place has the rudest most incompent folks working for them. The guy ignored us and walked right past us. He put a pizza in the oven and then just stood next to the rudest Karen ever. When I asked after 10 mins were we going to have our order taken, she slapped in the mastiest way that it was only two of them and they didn't have time to take our order. He put a pizza in that cook itself and she was making that sandwich. If they were my employees they word have a sterno talking too. If you don't like you job. Quit

On Tuesday 6/24/25 I arrived to pick up my order placed and paid for on DoorDash. Upon arrival a hand written closed sign was placed on the door. The time was 9:28 pm, and according to the times, they were not going to close until 10. The man who greeted me at the door who clearly worked there could not have been more rude. I simply said that I had an order for pick up which he did a very heavy sigh and then started lying and gaslighting me. Including that they were closed and they had no orders. Then proceeded to go check for my name, which he never came back to answer me instead I had to walk up to him again to check. Which he immediately went ahead and said we had no orders again, so I deserved no answer I suppose in this case? He was extremely rude to me, telling me I must have placed the order after 9, which was incorrect as it was placed at 8:56. Then when I mentioned I didn’t appreciate the attitude, he just said “well that’s your problem I guess”. According to some of the recent reviews maybe I’m glad I didn’t end up with a terrible cooked pizza.

Ordered 2 ham cosmo and the is the meat we got. After I called they said they pre portion the meat. To maybe 2 oz

Terrible. Do not attempted to go. $62 later.,,,, Cheesesteak meat burnt, kids burgers burnt as well as the buns, meatball sub burnt.

I ordered the turkey and cheese cosmos and the cheesesteak egg rolls, and everything was a mess. The cosmos were soggy, the lettuce was wilted and sad, and the whole thing tasted like it had been thrown together hours ago. The cheesesteak egg rolls were greasy and bland, with hard, undercooked green peppers that ruined the texture. Nothing was fresh. Honestly, it was just nasty. I won’t be ordering again.

Update 4/21/25: tried again, ate the insides of stromboli due to getting burnt bottom this time. See pictures.
Older original post: literally the best stromboli... ONCE. Have tried probably 5 times since to get what I thought was great, but cannot. The straw that broke this camel's NOT GOING BACK was ingredients I specifically asked not to be on were added, and when I called, the owner said it wasn't on the slip ( I was looking at the slip taped to the box that clearly had my instructions on it). Ended with him saying I'll have a credit. Went today and asked what the credit was. $10..... I PAID after tip 30$ for something I DIDN'T EAT. I'm sure they won't go broke without my money, but they CAN take the credit and shove it up their A.... literally

Ordered a pizza with two toppings, and there were barely any toppings on it at all. It was basically cheese pizza with a few scattered pieces of chicken and vegetables. Pretty disappointed.

I ordered lucky strike and my order was wrong. When I called back to bring it back and have it replaced he apologized for giving me the wrong thing but said he can’t make me a new order, instead he can give me 4 dollars off my next order. This is not acceptable , I’m disputing it with my card and never returning again. Don’t eat here. .

1st of let me say I'm mad at myself for not taking pictures of the food. It was so good we couldn't wait to eat it. We'll let me say I got cheese steak egg rolls, and hot sausage. The cheese steak eggs rolls were sooo good and the sausage was very tasty. My son got the BLT and it was a good size sandwich, and his girlfriend got the turkey BLT which also looked amazing, we also got the nacho fries...yummy. We definitely be back. Highly recommend you try this place if you already haven't
