Everything was great. The homemade chicken noodle soup is my favorite! Our server Nancy was super nice and attentive. She went out of her way to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed!

Gave a 3 because of cleanliness - sticky table, dirty bathrooms - both needed attention.

The waitress was very kind and polite. She had gotten us boxes for our dinner we couldn't eat and was very polite when we paid our bill.

My twin sister and I celebrated our birthday. And a sweet waitress brought us a cupcake with a lighted candle...very much appreciated...

It is a buffet. The salads and soups are excellent. The entrees are solid, and reasonably priced. The staff at the locations i have visited are friendly and very competent.

I think the last time I ate at Hoss's was 15+ years ago. I remember it being good, so we visited a couple weeks ago on a Thursday evening when we were in town. The restaurant was fairly empty. Still it took 15 minutes or so for us to finally flag down a manager and get someone to take our drink order. Many things on the salad bar were empty. The nacho bar was mediocre at best. I wish I had ordered steak.. I ordered shrimp instead. I'm pretty sure I received SeaPak frozen shrimp (I'm not sure what I expected in Pennsylvania, but I expected something better than that). The dessert bar had some delicious brownies that I ate way too many of.. We may not visit this part of PA again, but if we do, I imagine we will skip Hoss's.
