The staff was excellent very friendly I loved it the girl came by checked on me see if I needed a glass of water refilled see if everything tasted all right. I would definitely recommend this place if anybody comes to town

We visited Moon & Raven Public House during the city's "First Friday" celebration in August. The pub was very busy but we were able to get a table outside. We started dinner with an Aperol Spritz for me and an Old Fashioned for my husband, both cocktails were delicious and were festive with beautiful garnishes. Following up with fish & chips (perfectly crispy) as well as Shepherds pie (delicious gravy in filling) for our entrees. Would love to return when it is less busy to sample their beer menu.

Love this place. It feels like you were transported overseas. The atmosphere is electric. It is located right on a busy street in the heart of town. On the day we were there was blocked off for monthly event. Their front windows open out the street which added to the ambiance. The beer selection is good and varied. Loved their dark beers The food was very good. They had Scotch eggs which was some of the best we ever had. Their club sandwich was amazing. Homemade chips were awesome. The place is kid/family friendly. There is seating outside. The serving staff was knowledgeable and engaging. The decor is great. Price point is good. Parking is available near by.This is the place to go when in Williamsport!!

Update on 8/16/23:My previous review was pre-Covid and much had changed. The coconut mojito remains excellent. However, the dishes we loved are no longer served. The menu is much reduced. There are fewer tables near the open doors. This week there is a "special" Little League menu which is mainly soups, salads, sandwiches and the Shepherds pie. French onion soup is good. The veggie burger is fine. No longer the place we loved.Love the atmosphere and the garage-door windows that open to the outside on nice days. Try the coconut mojito when they have it. The shrimp creole is excellent; my husband enjoys the chicken pot pie.

Post LLWS games, we visited the Public House for a cold beverage. We sided with the Kentucky Breakfast Stout. It was awesome to our taste. Staff was very friendly and stayed in touch with us the whole time we were there.

Great find in Williamsport. The vegan burger and salad were excellent but plenty of good options for meat lovers.Vegetarian options: Several inventive and chef prepared options

Guys I’m sorry but I have been in the restaurant industry for 30 years. A mandatory “service charge” That you are not warned about is UNACCEPTABLE. YOU are responsible for paying your staff a living wage…. That’s on YOU. A tip is a reward for great service. We won’t be back because of this hidden charge.

Fabulous food, friendly waitstaff, and great drinks. LOVED all the gluten free options (can’t tell you the last time I had a Reuben in a restaurant). It’s in a cool building, right in the center of town. Poutine was GF and glorious. My husband loved the club sandwich. Great place to stop in

This is my favorite restaurant in Williamsport! I love that you can get a "wee" size meal. It is just the right amount of food. They always have really good cocktails. But most importantly the server recognizes us when we come in. So it really feels homey here. We just keep coming back for more. Thank you Moon and Raven!

A favorite every time I come home. The cocktails are on point. There are a lot of GF options and the food is quite good. They even do the fries in a separate fryer. Rarely can I find that! My favorite is the Shepherd's Cottage Pie.The staff are kind and helpful figuring out what is next to drink or eat. Love this place.

A very well spent evening in Williamsport. Excellent food, very friendly and professional service, an interesting and friendly owner of this beautiful pub. It's just a shame that we can't repeat a visit to the Moon & Raven for the time being. All the best to the whole team.

Please don't go to the Moon and Raven Public House if you're hungry or expect your meal in a reasonable time. I stopped with my wife, sister, and brother-in-law for a meal before a comedy show across the street at 7 pm. We had traveled three hours to Williamsport. We had asked for a 5 pm reservation but were asked to come at 5:15. We agreed and arrived about 5:10. Our table wasn't ready so we were asked to wait outside the restaurant. I say restaurant but it's really a pub and the food is consistent with that. Nothing fancy, just bar food. We were seated pretty close to our reservation and our server, Amanda S., came by a few minutes later to take our drink orders. Another staff person brought us our drinks a few minutes later. For more than 30 minutes, and a total of 40 minutes from when we were seated, we waited for our server to come back and take our dinner orders. Amanda S. never did come back. I had to stop her as she walked to another table and ask to order our meals. We waited 47 more minutes from then to get our meals. We were standing up to leave when the food finally came. The food was not terrible. The roll on my burger was very hard on top from sitting under a heat lamp and it was overcooked. In a normal circumstance it would have been fine. Not good but fine. Having to wait for 87 minutes to get a burger and other simple meals was an unreasonable amount of time. If we hadn't stopped our server to order the meal who knows what time we would have eaten. No one came to ask if we needed drinks or anything while we sat and waited. There was a good crowd but not crazy busy. Amanda S. was happy to set me straight that the people surrounding us, who came in after us, hadn't received their meals yet, they had only eaten several plates of appetizers while we waited for our food. We ate our meals in 9 minutes, paid our bill including the mandatory 20% service fee and left with a bad taste in our mouths, but not any apologies. After the comedy show we went to The Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House around the corner. Friendly, fast service and great food.
