Nice local bar. Beer we ordered was very good. Ordered fish and chips. Two nice pieces of haddock-but served on a whole lot of fries... No sides or other option in place of fries ( of course it was fish and chips) so we did order a side salad. Ordered the cheesecake to take home. It was very good but a little pricey.

Riepstine's is the standard by which I judge all other beers. There is a good variety of styles for such a small place. Other local competition is often packed with people, while riepstine's keeps that small-time local bar feel, which I prefer. There are other places in town where I could hold my mug club, but this is the place I choose to have my membership.

I'm not sure how to rate. I had their Doesn't f**king matter beer at Broken Axe over the weekend. I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband had a flight and this is definitely a beer I could drink. Now I just need to find it in Mifflin, Juniata or Centre counties.

The food for Octoberfest was typical German fair. Great Bratwurst and German Potato Salad. And you have to try the Round hill Red Ale!

Awesome secret pub find! They have a beautiful place with the nicest staff and happily, no smoking or vaping on the property. It also doesn't hurt that they have excellent beers, a dog and family friendly outdoor area in a well maintained setting. We can't wait to go back!

Fish dinner was very good. Burger I has previously was excellent too. Oh, and the beers were quite good as well. Especially the Imperial Stout and the Round Hills Red Ale.
Great service! We were offered tastes of the beers before making our selections. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There is hard seltzer and hard cider on tap for non beer drinkers. A basic food menu is available. Everyone was also immediately given glasses and a carafe of water.There is limited parking behind the pub.There is a beautiful outdoor space.The bathroom was clean. Both are gender neutral. Beer cans available for take-out.
