This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. Finding you was a miracle! She loved your cookies, bread and Pumpkin Pie!! She looked forward to me bringing home her favorites and surprises like your pretzels and cinnamon buns each week. She just passed away a couple weeks ago but the memories of her enjoying your delicious treats will give me a smile every time I think about those times. Parking: they have meters for pay but if you are running in real quick I wouldn't pay.“

“Sunday was my first visit to Zakes Cafe. The food was tremendous. I had the blueberry pancakes, the home fries, and bacon. However, the potatoes and the bacon were cold when they reached the table. I realized that the restaurant was busy, so I did not send anything back. I will return. However, if the food is cold again, I will send it back. Also, the coffee was very, very good.“

“At first I though the place was closed but you have to ring the bell and they will come from the back and open the door and I went inside and smelled fresh baked goodies.I ordered the plain cheese cake and the butter bunt cake took it home me and the hubby tore it up very moist bunt cake with icing but the Cheescake stole the show whipped to perfetion with a surprise cake frosting on top. “I started going here after trying a cake (lemon chocolate walnut cake) at a friends house. It was soo delicious and fresh and she told me about this place here. Everything i have tried here such as cannolis, the cakes, and the honey cake and walnut sourcream cake has been amazing and fresh. The lady is very nice too, this is why I am leaving a review. Im pretty surprised tho that their star ratings are low, they deserve more stars.“
