Ooka sushi.hibachi steak house

Food and service were both fantastic. Ooka prepares some unusual sushi/ rolls that taste really good. Atmosphere was fine, not great. My friend and I talked about the tabletop being too small for the number of dishes when we ordered soup, salad, and sushi (along with water and wine). While the dishes were served sequentially, there just wasn't enough room.

Our family loves dinners at Ooka. My 12 year old daughter asked to have her birthday dinner here and I was personally thrilled. We just had an awesome celebration ages 2-82 in our group. Our server was attentive and our hibachi chef was very friendly. This place is a gem and has quality food (plus full bar for the moms :)

Kid-friendliness: We had my-4 kids ages 3-12 plus my nephew and niece ages 2 and 6. We all had a blast. Kids loved it.

A nice little sushi/hibachi spot. It's a little small, so it gets a little tight when it's busy, but it's got a nice decor. The food and the service were both very good.

An outstanding traditional Japanese dining experience not to be missed! Exquisitely fresh and perfectly prepared sushi, sashimi, hibachi, teriyaki, and more with excellent service, a relaxing authentic atmosphere, and they are a BYOB as well. Most highly recommended!

The food at this place is pretty decent but what made me give the low rating was the service. Our waitress was not very considerate and would slap the food down on the table and leave without a word. As soon as we finished our food, she took our plates and gave us the bill, rushing us out to make room for the next guest. The worst part of the experience was that when I asked for more water, she took the cup and returned with another glass of water that tasted like watered down sprite, which leads me to assume she put water into someone else’s used cup.

i went here for lunch, i got the Nabeyaki Udon. Presentation was nice, but the overall dish was overwhelming. To much different flavors just thrown together in 1 bowl, no distinct flavor in the broth, very bland. Noodles were a bit over cooked. The soup spoon they gave to for the udon was very uncomfortable to use. Would not recommend getting this dish.
