Caruso's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Got seated at a table with my kids and no server ever showed up to take even just a drink order. They can't seem to handle takeout volume with even a moderate amount of people inside at the same time. I just left after maybe 30 minutes of waiting and no staff seemed to notice or care. Food is not good enough to overcome this level of poor service

We stopped for lunch and were seated then were deliberately ignored by the wait staff so we left. Not sure why they were so rude to us but will not be stopping there again. Too bad they missed a good tip!

Tomato soup is very good my mother enjoyed it very much. My one complaint is to use different bread for the Panini's
They're tasty it's just I find hard to keep it together while eating

Great food & service. Got an Italian Stromboli was very good !

Wonderful place to eat. Food is always very good. Servers are well prepared to offer insight on specials and different varieties of pasta and dishes. Parking is limited but worth a walk or wait for a spot.

Called and ordered 2 well done pizzas. Said about 22 minutes. 1 of the pizzas was perfect the other could’ve been done a little longer but nothing to complain about. I did show up a couple minutes early so maybe they wanted to get me served. Regardless the staff was friendly and the food was tasty. I can’t really say much about the interior but it looked nice.

I've been a long-time Caruso's customer, wrote a glowing review to their incredible Silver Spring location, but my experience at the Willow Street shop left much to be desired.

They messed up my order. And it was a pretty simple order. I might have just ignored it, but frankly, I'm tired of paying for something I didn't get.

I know mistakes happen, and I get it, but what you do when those mistakes happen is what defines your customer service.

I called the store, and they confirmed they got it wrong (the cook didn't even know what belonged in my sandwich), but the manager had no interest in fixing it.

Sure, they would make me a new one if I wanted to spend another 45 minutes biking in the cold to get it. Or they could add an unnumbered credit ($1,? $2? who knows?) to my account for the next time, but honestly, if you can't get a basic sub right, and further to make it my responsibility to fix it, then why would I come back?

I would have been happy with a refund. Even half a refund would have satisfied me. I'd have been thrilled had they sent their driver to pick up their mistake and bring the correct sandwich. But fixing their mistakes is not a priority at the Willow Street Caruso's, and when the staff doesn't even know what belongs on a sandwich, mistakes are going to happen. So if you are picking up, check your food before you leave. Check your delivery before the driver leaves. The place is staffed by kids, they aren't checking anything.

I can not underscore how frustrating the experience was. I biked across town to order that sandwich, I'm a fan of their food, and I'll never go back there again.

That's alright. There's a Two Cousins a few blocks down the road; I am certain they will be thrilled to get my business.

Fantastic service and exceptional Italian meals. If you're hungry for traditional Italian food, look no further!

Food is always great, service is always prompt and friendly (this place gets busy so expect a reasonable wait in the busy times). Atmosphere is surprisingly very well done, much more than you expect in a pizza place. Which, this is much more than :). Italian meals on the menu as well as appetizers and great sandwiches, hot and cold. We dine in occasionally and take out frequently. Use the drive up window for pickup, but please dont order there, call ahead first ;)

Would order from here but I have to use door dash and thre is a 6 to 7 dollar hike from restaurant prices... ridiculous!!!

I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Was very disappointed the chicken was burnt and very dry no taste very big chunks of lettuce in the salad. Then I ordered a Turkey club panini it was just thrown in the box . I couldn't even pick it up out of the box. Cheeseburger burger sub wasn't good either. It's not as good as before.

Lasagna looked like a pancake and the flavor was not there
