While the gator tacos and french onion soup was really good. I ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi. Are one shrimp it was ok and took a bite of scallop and it immediately made me sick. Cook said maybe it was just the two flavors combining but I love scallop scampi. To me the scallop tasted off like it was bad I didn't try the other. It was 2 scallops and 4 shrimp in a small dish of noodles. Will not return. Over priced massively for the amount.

Some Thoughts
Best meal I had all year. I live close and never went here and I am glad I did. I usually don’t go out much because I cook better than almost anywhere. Well here I had a meal better than I can make.Is it pricey, a little bit yes. Was it worth it yes for me it was.I went on a Friday and got the last table. Ordered appetizers and food. It all came out fast and one course right after the other. Lobster was really good and hot. Steak was perfectly done. I also got mushrooms and the were flavored well wish I knew what they did with those. Also the butter for lobster and clams was flavorful and above normal grade.Overall super happy, I haven’t written a review in years, but American Lobster earned it. Thanks for the great meal, I will be back again and would recommend it to anyone.

Waitress did not write down order and made mistakes, spoke over us when we were placing orders and asking questions. Had to come back to table to loudly project that the item was Cajun when we stated that it was very spicy. Forgot some items we ordered. Table was in corner when the sun set we were in the dark and could not read the check. Waitress ran my credit card for someone else's order and gave me a void receipt and did not appropriately apologize

Extremely overpriced. Marinara sauce for mussels or mozzarella sticks thick pastry and bitter. Shrimp scampi very greasy took it home and threw it away. Be careful when you order it adds up very quick. Onion soup, Caesar salad absolutely delicious.

First time there. They were a little busy so I could understand the longer wait for the drinks. No bread was offered not sure if they do that. Lobster tail add on was forgotton about. Was giving a dry old piece of red velvet cake to make up for it. Sadly will not be back but still tipped as anyone should the 20%.

We decided to celebrate my wifes birthday last night here. Unfortunately maybe just a bad night but we had a bad experience. Almost everyone at our table was not pleased with their food, the service was slow. Some of our complaints the chocken tasted like seafood, noodles undercooked, soupy type seafood dinner. We have visited this restaurant in the past and had a good experience.

My hubby and I went for all you can eat crab legs. The 1st batch that came out was overcooked and not even warm. The waitress asked how it was and we told her. Within a few minutes a new batch came out for hubby. She came back and asked me this time. I was struggling to eat the crab legs. She came back immediately with a fresh steamed bucket of crabs. Delish! It was better from there. So overall, they corrected the problem.

Food not great maybe average. Service was good. But the tip of 20%was automatically added which I feel is wrong. There was only 2 of us. I'm always a good tipper even if the service wasn't great and I've tipped Well above 20% in the past, but I didn't appreciate that decision being taken from me. We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant and unfortunately we won't be back.
Amazing! Party of 7 on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the price. All of us had appetizers and signature alcohol drinks plus entrees. Some of us even had lobster and steak. It was under $400. We were expecting it to be way more. Our new spot for our 7
Renae and McKenna were phenomenal servers. Smiling and attentive. Spatula for the over easy eggs.

It’s not that they’re understaffed…I just don’t know what exactly anyone was doing. Lots of people milling about, but no one taking our order or checking on us. Food had a good flavor, except I would have really liked if there was some crab in my crab bisque. It was just cream base, no meat. Also, $21 for a martini is absurd. We ordered an app. It never came. Our entrees came out, then our salads. The food runner asked if we needed anything, came back immediately with our salads, but not the items we asked for. The atmosphere is nice. Seems very clean. The staff was very polite. We had a reservation and were 10 minutes late (we called) but a table still hadn’t been cleared when we got there, even though there were plenty of empty tables that could have been cleared.

Amazing food! We were a party of 7. We ordered signature alcohol, each person had appetizers and entrees. Some of us got steak and lobster. Our bill was less than $400. We thought it would be much more! Very reasonably priced. This will be our new Christmas Eve tradition.

Waitress deserted us after we waited for 10 minutes to flag one down. Food was horribly overcooked, especially the lobster. We constantly had to flag down help for drinks, food and other requests. I wouldn't ever go back, even if it was free!
